Pantheon Spear throw wonkiness

I main pantheon but, his spear animation takes SOOOO long. like if they're in range i press q, he starts the animation, they walk out of range, then he doesnt throw it. Same if i start it then they go invisi or something, so can we make the animation faster or something its like they were in range when i started but he takes too long to throw it and it doesnt go off.
