> Sightstone and all of its upgrades will be removed from the store. Support items will gain Sightstone’s active as their quest reward. Support Tier 3 items now build out of Tier 2 and a Ruby Crystal, and give you the same stats as their respective line’s “Eye of the __” upgraded Sightstone on live.

Quick question, does this change mean that if I play blitz and build FOTM or Soraka and build Talisman, I can't get a ruby sightstone? If no, wonderful. I just dont understand from what i'm seeing. If yes, good job riot. Quality changes. I always wanted permanently dark maps for my adcs to int in.

Yes. And no. It means you can't buy a Ruby Sightstone while you play with Blitz and build FotM or play Soraka or build Talisman not because you built those but because all of those items along with FQC have been removed from the game.
