"I've had better times at Nexon"

Summoner Sidekick bots are STILL roaming rampant in the game, and Riot sent me a canned response about it. Go figure. Lazy ass company with lazy ass responses.

The website containing the bot is still online, and you can still see Riven's going bot with no items at 30 minutes which return to the same bush just outside red buff to go back. Even when allied team is up against nexus, the bot will return to the same spot to go B, ect ect.

This is after people have been reporting the problem since before 2012.

The botting program is used mostly in AI games, ARAM, and Normal blind pick games. I've seen it used in draft pick as well to hilarious effects. (The bot banned the champions it was supposed to use and freaked out spamming "GG" followed by two white blocks over and over. because it had no champions to pick.)

The botting program is a reason so many people quit the game (Right up there next to the horrible community. I get reported constantly for informing people ABOUT the Summoner Sidekick bots, but people are too dense to understand what the bot is and what it does. I even submitted a DIRECT link to Riot, and their response was "Thank you for the report. I'll file this ticket for our investigation team, and they'll look into it. That said, due to the sensitive nature of this report, I will be unable to share any details of the investigation due to our security practices. "

In other words, letting people -KNOW- they're not doing anything to patch the numerous bugs (Or just upgrade their damn anti-hack. It's not that hard considering they're not really using one. The SSB program is so poorly designed that it's practically written in notepad. Anti-hack programs from 2000 can detect it running. Why can't "The worlds most played game"?) and the -ONE- bot program on the market.

Simple things could be done to check and see if it's a bot playing the game and the only thing Riot is doing is releasing more skins to sell.

Riots -LEAST- worry is about their players, and that's pretty obvious. To be entirely honest, I've had better customer support from Nexon. And they've charged money to my credit card without my permission.

Until Riot patches the SSB, I have a suggestion.

Stop playing the game Let riot -KNOW- you're sick of having to carry 2 people that arn't even real people to begin with, but are people that are too lazy to play the game. Stop purchasing RP Let them know you refuse to pay to be abused. You don't need those skins, and Riot doesn't deserve your money until they can provide an environment to enjoy the game in. If riot can afford that trophy for worlds, they can afford to fix their out-dated anti-hack program (If you can even call it that.) Surrender games where you have a SSB present, and report the SSB after the game as "Leaving game AFK" with the Comment "Summoner Sidekick Bot" Riot needs to know how bad it's getting. There hasn't been a game where I or any of the other 30+ people people I play with havn't run into Summoner sidekick bots at some point throughout the day. Usually large swaths of them come in later at night. If you can't stop playing league, then at least do your job of annoying the piss out of riot until they do something about it. Because lord knows the only reason they'd ever patch something is if people complain enough.
