Opinions of the new Jungle post-patch.
- I've been playing a couple of matches post-patch as jungler (my favorite role) and noticed that with item changes and powered-up monsters, that I have to recall more often just for /pots/. Pre-Patch
allowed me to afford 4 pots when I played
((My FAVE champ.)) and have enough sustain to allow some earlier ganks. But in this new jungle, I can only get TWO pots, which means healing up for early ganks forces recalls at lvl 2, to got more pots. These camps (even Raptors) can take BIG chunks of HP early, even which HURTS the carry jungler badly, I've already played enough of
,
and
to see that they fall FAR behind most self-sustaining junglers like
and
, who right now OWN the jungle scene.
On the new items: While I think it's good to now give
uses beyond early-game, I feel like cost of
and the other jungle items make it pretty hard to to catch up as a carry jungle. Since all the items REQUIRE
, even machete, it limits alternate choices in building. Now I already know that the "new"
does a lot of thing, but I believe only
and
are the only two useful ones, with
only being a pick for those ( AKA
) who cannot clear and/or self-sustain well and
being pretty useless and risky for a tiny bit of gold and a MS buff. I think that there has to be some changes, maybe reducing machete's price along with the new jungle items.
Right now I feel like the new jungle is a breeze for tankier champs like
(I do like Rammus getting love though!) and the ones who have easy sustain like
,
, and
, but right now its pretty hellish for the Assassin jungle like
.
I hope to get other opinions on this preseason jungle, I guess for now I'm playing
and
to see how they fare.
for your 3rd camp and 4th if you need it, And tbh I don't really like the
, which may only be because not a lot of people have a deep understanding of the new jungle. Building tank vs a
