Ranked overhaul was complete smoke and mirrors

I was ready to give this game an honest amount of effort/time again when I heard they were doing all these ranked changes. RANKED IS THE EXACT SAME BS - NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Even with all the changes in the game it’s even more out of balance then it was before in my opinion. I’m not going to dive deep into the specifics but just a general spat on what I think

I understand it’s at beginning of season so no one is where they should be rank wise, but I have been seeing some REAL QUESTIONABLE play bad/good in my games. It’s not enjoyable to have to hard carry or get free wins every game, and that seems to be the case in lower leagues. It’s total RNG on which team gets the idiots. Almost like win trading, even though I know that’s all just bull crap. No one is actually doing that right? Games are way to snowbally in these lowere elo games though. So much early fighting on comps that shouldn’t even be doing it cause they need to farm and yet it still works. No attempt at stalling the games out it’s just force fight get kills, pressure, win. There use to be a lot more to the way you could win back in season 2 and 3 (at least that’s how I felt).

The game is over saturated with champs that don’t even get played because riot can’t keep people from playing ‘broken’ champs in order to climb for the freelo. I always see the same 10-15 champs in my games and that’s it. People like me who play champs literally cause they like them and they are fun are served the $h1t end of the stick. If you can’t get with the wave of current broken champs don’t expect to climb and riot is okay with that clearly.

MMR doesn’t work and I don’t think it ever has. Matching people up incorrectly is my biggest issue with the game at the moment. I may have some issues with mechanics at times but I generally understand the game. Being matched up with people making mistakes that are just plain idiotic doesn’t make the game enjoyable for me, and I’m sure others feel the same. Granted I make lots of mistakes some days but mine are usually position based cause I play adc. I just get caught out usually late in the game. Mistakes are one thing but it just seems once you start on the downward spiral that is tilt your account is just screwed unless your master tier at the game. Even then I’ve seen countless games played by skilled players that are just unwinnable

I’m trying my best not to rant about the game but I think it’s time to let go of what use to be a great, fun, competitive game for me even if it was toxic. Now it’s just toxic and broken which isn’t enjoyable. Sorry about my grammar... I’m sure I’ll get lots of down votes but I’m just here to say my peace so I can stop playing knowing I tried. Knowing I tried to make an impact on the game for the better. Maybe one day it’ll be at least decent enough to try again

Yeah and you sound like another fanboy who gets paid to scour the forums. I’ve went through your history of comments my friend and it’s nothing but player shaming. The game is broken right now and I know plenty of people feel the same way. I mean riot had to practically beg for some streamers to come back and play by giving them access to all skins in game

Huh? I still lose LP when I lose and gain smaller amount when I win. Only thing that is decent about the changes is the placements but even then they added another way to abuse the system when they added positional rankings.

dont get too worked up over a virtual thing just play the game and get the prizes if you lose then you lose people in ranked acting like 1 loss should get you perma banned. geez even faker loses sometimes does that mean we should perma ban him too if he lost one match? chill is what im saying to those who overreact in ranked its only a virtual status.

Okay let me explain. I’m not wanting people banned and I’m not wanting free wins. I want teammates that I feel are the same level of skill as me. If we still lose then okay I lost no hard feelings. It’s when I lose knowing I did everything in my skill base possible to win and we lost because I had a 1-10 top lane or something and irelia can now just 1v5 the team. That’s the problem with the game. I have already given up on the system though so you don’t have to try and convince me not to care about the virtual status. I don’t care what my rank actually is. It could be iron 4 for all I care as long as I’m getting paired with equally skilled players which is never the case

if i had a perfectly skilled game MMR where its even. i would rather MMR hard stuck right there instead of forcing a 50% win rate unless of course if you go in long streaks then you can move up in skill level instead of forcing others at a 50% win rate down someones throat. if you want me to have a ideal setting thats what i think about MMR. but if its ranked you talking about then just get premade team that you know you can trust to be with you. otherwise play your best team based champion.
