League is becoming more and more of a team-oriented game, yet we still SoloQ with randoms
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, just wanted to share my thoughts.
The days of solo carrying games is over, with things like bounty systems introduced to punish individuals who are carrying and the sheer amount of damage champions can dish out now (even tanks). Yesterday for the first time in about a year, I flex queued with 4 friends and it was a blast. Still highly competitive and a little salty, but so much better than the soloq experience (even duoq). The coordination and communication made me see what League is truly designed to be... and yet we grind away in matches where Yasuo top won't listen and tries to 1v4 and goes 0/5. The toxicity and tilt comes from this frustration.
Why the hell are we still playing alone, in a game that is obviously being designed by Riot to be more centered around working as a unit? Will definitely be flexing more in the future.
Side observation: Why in God's name are voice comms not in the game. They seem vital to the experience, at least to me. It doesn't need to be forced, just have it as an option for the player(s).
Lemme know what you think.
