Can Anyone Help Me Understand Champion Grades After A Match?

Raven Skald··1 votes·966 views

Here's the scenario:

My team won a match, and my Nasus had the strongest game, followed by our Kennen - however, match grading gave my Nasus an "A," and our Kennen an "S."

My Nasus went 17/4/24, with 15.9k gold and a triple kill.

Our Kennen went 16/7/15, with 16k gold.

I'm confused as to why our Kennen got an entire grade higher than my Nasus, when I had the strongest stats for the match.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks :)

It also comes down to damage dealt to champions, how much CS you had at the end of the game, damage taken, objectives destroyed(turrets, dragons, its based on damage dealt to objectives)...etc

Few things to note for this game in particular: • Your CS is pretty bad at 1.9/minute. This is more inexcusable on Nasus because your Q makes it very easy to farm. Try to shoot for 6-8 cs/min. • It looks like just based off the items, Kennen was the support in this match, which I believe changes the requirements for S rank. He ended the game with what would be considered high CS for a support, placed a lot of wards, and did 2nd most damage on the team.
