Idea to balance Tahm Kench

I think that Tahm Kench W on allies should pause the CC's that are currently active on them. Right now, Tahm Kench is a huge issue because ADC's can tank game-changing CC's (thresh hook, morg binding) with no worry of getting killed, because tahm kench has a free "cleanse" on a relatively low CD.

So to balance him in competitive play, instead of cleansing the CC's, TK W should instead pause their timers so that his W functions as a "reposition" tool instead of a pure CC cleanse to squishies. So if your ADC gets hit with a 3sec Morg binding and gets gobbled after 1s, once the ADC gets spit out they'd have 2s of root remaining before they can move again.

For every point of damage his shield absorbs, it should increase the cooldown by a second. That's the ability that makes him near-godly and he won't be resolved until it's fixed.

Interesting, but that could cause issues with things like Thresh's hook. Does Thresh just stay hooked to them for that entire extra duration?

I think he should stop doing so much damage for building full tank. I feel if he builds nothing but HP and armor he shouldn't be allowed to one shot me if I play an ADC

How about we not nerf Tahm's support abilities even more than they already are now? Nerf him much more and he becomes useless trash. He is already a bad support champion in anything but pro play who does literally nothing aside from snatching an ally out of danger and occasionally slinging a Q at someone for mediocre damage.

I can go full tank Cho'Gath as a support and do a better job than Tahm can at this point (and I do, and it works and is awesome).

That's my point. They've nerfed everything else in his kit over and over and over again instead of getting rid of the mechanic that makes him busted in the first place - the cleanse of all CC of an ally every 20 seconds or so (was 10 before the nerfs).

Make that ability much worse when cast on allies and it opens up the rest of him to have a good kit again.
