5v5 Team Ranked removed - Whats the thoughts - Whats the plan?

I have been waiting on the official explanation for the removal of 5v5 ranked teams, so maybe asking politely will get me an answer. (i guess the dynamic hiccups is taking allot of your attention - and thats understandable)

The sob story: Im one of those players that dont have time to play solo/duo but have been on a ranked team playing weekly for years, with good friends. I worked my way to low silver in season 4, got the placement-bat season 5 back into low bronze ... and gave up on my solo rank grind, seeing as all i really wanted was the team progression. we are 35+ years old - We are dedicated old boys getting our asses kicked by teen reaction time, but love our team identity and the social taps we keep on friends that dont live close or have time to hangout in person any more.

Transferring to dynamic cues we loose: 1: our team identity 2: placement disparity will hinder us from queuing up together

the fix: 1: smurf accounts

... but it still leaves me with why?

we will find a way to play with the same people post ranked team removal - but why did you remove it.. and whats the plan?
