Why is it that when ever you bring up matchmaking for other queues that arent SoloQ the excuse is always "jUsT pLaY rAnKed"

Why is it totally fine for every queue but soloq to have TERRIBLE matchmaking ? And Riot never addresses this ? They have been using the same garbage excuse for the longest time now. And yet nothing seems to actually get fixed. They aren't even trying to address the problem. I don't care about ranked, i shouldn't be forced to play it just because i want a fair game.

All the the excuses are terrible, for instance, flex. jump in a game of flex right now and you will have plat/diamond soloq against silver/bronze. And the common excuse ? "But its a different queue!!!!" Ok but literally nothing has changed. No map changes, nothing. So the diamond/plat player is still fucking diamond/plat.

I asked a rioter about any upcoming changes to fix the matchmaking problem, and the response was "matchmaking is fine, maybe the other player is just better then you" They are better than me, im questioning why the hell they are in my games to begin with.

Can we stop making terrible excuses and fix the damn matchmaking already ? rito plz

I agree, matchmaking in Non Ranked Q sucks. When i try new champs of course i dont take them to ranked first, i go unranked draft. I am a fucking Gold pleb and have to constantly play vs Plat 1, Diamonds or even Master Players. Its really nice to get shit on, go 0/7 out of lane with half the cs and ff at 20.

I dont care if anyone says "Muh, MMr balances the whole Team, muh" . Great, the enemy Player who gets stomped surely has the same amount of fun as me.

Too lazy to work on fixing match making been over 4 years since they last work on it and this was the result. You act like Rito actually works on anything which is funny "Riot is working on new games!".

Riot talk about making new games when they can't even fix this bug up mess of a game Client/Champion having issues with their ability for example Warwick blood scent/ balance issue. No nothing will get done Riot got the taste of money and now feel like they can relax because of the revenue. I hope this game will die out like WoW is so Riot actually don't take their player base for granted.

There is nothing to “fix” because matchmaking isn’t the problem. The snowball coin flip meta is why we have all of the problems.

Its not the kind of thing that you can just wave a wand and have a solution for. Ques are tracked separately and for a good reason. The less restrictions MM obeys the more frequently you find shitty mismatched games.

There is not an infinite # of players to pull from in the que. There is no control on player decisions or behaviors After a lobby is made. MMR will build a skill curve and use that to make games. It does a very good job of this. It will not ever give a fuck about match quality or how enjoyable any one finds gameplay and it will not control decisions humans make.

Ranked 5 is a better format for competitive games but with out the players supporting it then its a dead que. So we got flex which is easier to make from lower population sizes but match quality suffers as a result. If Riot got Clash off the ground and popular they could just remove Flex entirely.

The math and logic Arpad Elo used IS solid. It does not remotely consider or care about the gameplay experience.

Match making will always be rigged. They do this to keep people playing. If the player base woke up already and stopped giving them money we could change things but people are fucking idiot sheep.

I would love to see the LoL code data mined and see all of the nasty shit they have in place for the match making and ranked queues. I bet it's a chock full of lines that match your skill to worse teammates and superior enemies.

This game is dead ASF if they didnt pull from far away ranks you wouldnt ever get qued, just how it is man. Game isnt worth playing unless your addicted.

And why do you refuse to play rank if it's exactly the environment you seek? (players of almost equal skill against each other)

Seems like you can just play ranked soloq and have all you need.

"Stomp or get stomped" is a well known rule for every queue, and it's intentional: years pass, and they are doing absolutely nothing about it.
