Fuck Riot starting new accounts at low gold/high silver MMR for placements

They don't start in High Silver/Low Gold.

3 wins and you're in gold MMR range if you got lucky and always win against a higher MMR aggregate trio of teams. Such is the nature of bonus MMR.

But yeah, still 1200ish starting point.

Really??? Why did my buddy who just played his first ranked game ever play in a game with all gold 5/silver 1 players?? Every one of those players really have S4 mmr?

Starting mmr is 1500 for new accounts, been stated
