Taliah kit doesnt fit into a specific role

I have tried taliah in the pbe i really enjoy the concept and the fact that she is unique but her kit doesnt serve a specific role right now her ult doesnt provide any damage and teamfight potential. Yes it is good for roaming but so is tf ultimate and tf is a much better pick having a stun and more damage. Also her e has really no purpuse the delay before it explodes is so large that even when you try to throw them in the e with your w it is impossible since it is quite obvious. Also her q passive limits her damage and even if you cast it really close to walls on the lane so in the case the enemy laner wants to trade you can immediately use it on normal ground it is still not so effective since 90% can outrade her. But the main issue is her ult you would expect her ult to deal damage but its just like aurelion sol. Her ult has zero potential in a fight since when you use it you immediately appear in front of enemies having 0 tankiness and escapes. Moreover, it can easily be countered by flashing. It seems to me like riot tried to combine azir's ult and twisted fate's and failed. Twisted fate can teleport it can only be stopped by cc and he almost always has a stun when he appears, tahm kench can take another person with him and lets be honest a wall is not the greatest cc. I was searching to find a solution to this problem since i really enjoyed the champion's kit somehow and i figured that maybe if while she ult she can use her q and it rapidly fires rocks that deal less damage but she rapidly fires them or something. However I really dont get why riot makes champions like taliah and aurelion sol which have really nothing goin on for them. I mean when most of your damage dependds on your positioning this sounds initially like a cool concept but on paper it is unrelistic to exist, without a trade off. High risk high reward aurelion sol's passive sould deal so much damage since the enemy can literally walk and avoid it or use any movement ability (which 90% of the champions have). Sorry i went off topic, but riot should really make a tradeoff between using your ult as taliah and appering in front of the enemies or just using your wall as a long range anivia wall and actually doing something useful. Sorry for my english i am not a native speaker and for the long post i was just so upset with the new champion concept being wasted that i could help but make a post which none will probablky read. Thank you very much for your time!

She is a control mage. Her ult is meant to split the enemy / block escapes, etc. She has tons of zone control and CC. Think like Anivia. Your job as her is to do damage, but to also disrupt the other team in such a way that the fights are no longer fair / 5v5.

But anivia can do this so much better while staying in the back line and dealing much higher aoe damage she does much lowe damage and her aoe can be dodged easily. She has no survivability like anivia which has her egg and taliah heavily depends on her q which can be ineffective in small teamfight areas like tha baron pit. Also her passive gives her movement speed when she is next to walls but sometimes this means travelling from a larger path which makes it less effective than it should be! anivia also had an aoe long range stun.

My comment wasn't meant to be about who can do it better. I was simply stating what she was intended to be since the thread title claims she doesn't fit into a specific role.

If you're trying to compare who is stronger, that seems silly right now since taliyah is still new and not even on live yet.

i think she should have been a melee champ with her ult being an engage tool.
