Why Do People Insist on Playing Yi in Ranked?

Why? Every single time there's a Yi on my team they contribute absolutely nothing to the teamcomp other than braindead damage, and even then you get exploded in 2 seconds. Afk farm the early game, come in with metiocre ganks, has no cc, why do people insist on playing Yi when there are SO many better picks? I'd honestly rather have Warwick on my team than Yi, and WW is pretty dirt tier himself. This is around low Diamond MMR and it's disgusting, do us all a favor a play a champion that will benefit the team.

I like the explosive adrenaline rushy opportunistic high risk high reward playstyle, it's just how I am.

I am sure a lot of people are like me too, let people play what they want.

Yi is really OP when played right

Like, you don't even need to build armor penetration on him to melt tanks

I played a game against a Yi once as Rammus and it didn't even matter if I built a ton of armor because of his true damage like, he procced true damage twice as fast because of sated devourer
