Solution to Autofill

Dear Riot, im tired of seeing people in my role and on my champion and they play off meta or feed or just in general arent as good as me(granted there are some who are as good if not better than i am) but the majority of the ones that i see are bad. please make autofill by win % in role position.

if summoner 1 has a 55% winrate mid and summoner 2 has a 50% winrate mid

give summoner 1 mid and fill the second guy...

i have no issue filling but its annoying af that everytime i get autofilled (be it to jungle or support or wherever) my midlaner plays one of the champs i main in mid with some off meta bs build that i swear has to be from ultimate bravery i dont win often when others have mid.... i mean if i get adc or top im fine but jungle is either i carry thru my teams attempts to just feed the enemy or they feed too hard... this isnt a one game occurence this happens frequently almost every game i get autofilled the person in my main role who refuses to give me the role just plays like complete trash or in some cases are legit bad...

please winrate by role queued for will solve my problems

No they need to make Autofill happen after 8-10 minute wait times.

THEN give the team that got the autofill a boost of LP

If they lose then they lose LESS LP then a non-autofilled game If they win then they win MORE LP then a non-autofilled game

You've played 981 games of Solo/Duo queue this year, and are sitting at Silver 5. You have a win rate of 47.03% in Mid in that queue. It'll take you 12 consecutive wins to get to a 50% win rate Mid. Someone who won 8/17 game in Mid would get preference over you. After your 12 consecutive wins, someone who went 2/1 in Mid would get it over you.

What you're proposing wouldn't give you Mid more frequently. It would ensure players who had less experience on a role but were on a lucky winning spree got the role more frequently. You'd never get mid over the person who won the one game they played earlier in their placements. You'd never get mid over the guy who only played mid 10 times but won 7 games.

I have never been auto filled. So I have no clue what all the complaints are about.

Of course, the real solution is to make the game 4v4 and remove supports altogether. It's not that complicated. Only about 5% of the players like to play support and 20% are forced to every game which means 15% more happy players and only 5% annoyed ones if it's is removed.

Or they could make support satisfying and have some agency so that players actually want to play it.

But in terms of your suggestion it would just result in players who are not yet correctly placed or lack versatility in roles being autofilled less since everyone trends to a 50% winrate over time.

If I get autofilled to support, then I dodge. I'm actually playing a different game (planetside 2) today because I sat through 3 dodges (with roles I chose) and then was autofilled to support. I dodged. I like the new ban phase because it goes faster, but autofill does not help my wait times over all - because I end up dodging support (which I find to be very boring and often frustrating).
