Hey guys I was woundering when I saw the patch notes of 5.2 on reddit and other websites is see that they will be removing DFG and because of that Vegiar and Ahri will be getting buffed. After that they mention Akali and Fizz, I don't understand what they mean about those 2 champions will Fizz get a nerf on top of the removal of DFG? if he does this will be very sad Fizz is a healthy assassin and can be shut down easily in the laming phase with a gank or two.
ha fizz needs dfg what a joke. Once he gets past his "bad" laning phase he just wrecks face with just one QW chunking half health. Fizz don't farm minions, he farms CHAMPS. Oh yeh trollpole every 5 seconds with a 70 percent ap ratio, yep no wave clear at all.

Fizz doesn't even buy DFG often...
I'm pretty sure Riot plans to hit him again.
The only way to fix Fizz is to have Zhonyas stop all cooldowns.
I think what they should do with Fizz is to make his Q not apply on-hit effects anymore. He has a enough attack range that he can still auto attack them for the W/Lich bane proc if they don't dash/flash, and makes it so you don't get chunked even though you used your flash/dash.
Personally I think Trickster needs to be looked at, it feels like its far too good of an ability right now.
If nothing else lowering the damage would be nice.
I honestly don't think he is overpowered in high elo whatsoever only in bronze cause them noobs just get to close to him and can't side step for shit

Still waiting for that promised Ahri buff. So far all they've done is nerf her damage and homogenize her into a low tier-2 mage. I'm getting really tired of Riot lying to our faces.
I think he is ok and with the DFG removal he will be balanced no need to nerf his base stats more
DFG wasn't really a hot item on Fizz. And he'll be permaban to me despite it's loss.
You see, the problem is balancing for the low-skill end of the equation distorts the balance at the higher end extremely. The reason being, if the game's balance has to compensate for the player's inability to properly use a given champion, imagine what someone who is skilled with the champion can pull off. It would destroy any sense of balance to decide to focus on the lower end of the spectrum.
I realize that I play at a low ELO, and that I make a good number of mistakes in nearly all of the games that I play. I acknowledge this, but at the same time, note this:
Skill is the defining factor at low ELO. The vast majority of players don't play at a level at which balance is even a factor, because there are myriad other problems with their play that could be fixed by the players themselves.
Also, when players blame losses on game balance, that causes them to stagnate, as they don't acknowledge that they can improve.
This is sad really sad back to Gragas ans Ziggs just spam q and waveclear which takes 0 skill and no machanics keep Assassians like Fizz in the meta
And souL many people buy DFG on him it goes well with his kit I can see why you said that thought because I buy the item but never use the active I just use Zhonyas active which is amazing for Fizz
Yo, its a nurf. His W passive got rekt and he no longer rends people... along with his Q damage being reduced. His ult got buffed, but as long as you can dodge a skill shot you should be fine.
Fizz is now balanced. His kit seems to completely make sense now. His Q and E make him slippery while not dealing too much damage, and he is on par with other assassins to where pre lvl 6 he is really frail.
