How do I make it past the trolls? Advice?

Hey guys, Recently I started climbing the ranks, Ive been watching my replays and improving my gameplay. But the thing is im stuck with is that literally every game, its been five in a row now, ive gotten a troll or and AFK. Ive been fighting a losing battle. I need some advice. I was Silv 1, recently got demoted to Silv 2 because of those 5 losses. If anyone can help and send me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. No one wants gold more than me. Thanks, EpicTophan

There is no way to get past trolls and AFKs.

I was Gold last year, and they still existed well into Platinum 5, and my friends that are higher say they get trolls here and there as well. They're an unavoidable part of League. When I get a troll, I try not to play again for a few hours just to reset my mood.

The trick is not to start blaming trolls for the reason you can't move up. That's where I see people get stuck.

You're in Silver 2, so that's not that far from Gold. Remember that ranked isn't a race. I think we just hit the mid season mark, so you have plenty of time. I'm doing ranked only playing support this season, and even I'm moving along steadily. It's been a bumpy road, but I always try to keep the big picture in mind and not get wrapped up in a few bad games.

5/9 of the time the enemy gets the troll/afk just play enough games for the LLN to apply

I didn't make it to gold last season till i started playing with my friends in ranked. Best way is to meet like minded people to play with.
