In fact no one like being autofilled, It’s just stupid we all don’t care to find a game faster if u are autofilled, it’s the 5th game I dodge bc i’m autofill jungle and so forced to dodge, AND WHEN U DODGE U LOSE 1 PROMO’S GAME OR LOSE LP JUST WTF ? AUTOFILL juste make people being toxic af, so the team flame him and we lose a game. I don’t want to image how it can be horrible in hight elo.. Just why do AUTOFILL exist, Riot said that he listen to their player but when u just quote autofill 99% of the discussion are « remove autofill systeme »... no one like it. Autofill just tilt u and so u’ve got no fun anymore to play this game, and finally ragequit. Let’s us have our role even if we have to wait 5min in queue.

Id be more like waiting thirty minutes. There is a lopside in role popularity. Mid is the most popular, top is a close second in low elo but falls off in high, jungle and support are the least popular and not many people like the role.

Some options available to literally everybody. 1. Dodge. 2. Learn a few champions in all roles so your never dead weight. 3. Main support Secondary mid.

When you dodge in a bo game you literally LOSE A GAME, learning champion you don’t really want to play just for not being tilt by autofill is not fun.. and your third mean nothing.. why main a role u don’t like just for skip autofill, the goal of a game is to have fun... playing something you don’t want to will just pissed u off..

@1Lose LP but Not MMR which slants LP gains. Or be a dick, be garbage at something and know it going into the match. Still lose LP and MMR and drag 4 others down with you. Least the enemy team has a good time if your going to willingly go into games at something your trash at.

@2 I have no sympathy for people who don't learn a games basics. Play what you want but don't be deadweight if you cant. Your not promised a pick, act like it. Imagine some one whining about chess because they don't like or want to use knights then losing to some one who can. This game is about team comps and teamwork any one who fails to get that gets the results they deserve.

If it was made so that you can and need to only ever play 1 thing then the game would be designed around that. You'd Que as your champion + Role and that would be it. Developing knowledge on counter picks, synergy, and matchups are a core part of this genera. Go play something else or deal with the consequences of ignoring it if you want. Again, I have no sympathy for folks who don't learn the basics then chose to cost games for other people.

@3 Could just play support from time to time and enable protection and remove RNG of getting filled to multiple roles into a reliable pattern if you want a less extreme example.

First you main supp so your chance of being autofill are not the same as me ( main mid ). It’s not a question of being dumb or anything else. Just when you are autofill jungle you decide to play and you know how your role works but the guy against you is main jungle, you can’t disagree with me and say that you have chance to win against him. You also can’t compare autofill with chess it’s not the same thing at all, in chess you can’t win if you are not using all pieces but in lol we can easily rank up by maining a champion you like to play. The only problem is beeing autofill. If u play league of legend, the main goal is to have fun you are agree right ? But when you do sh*t because the ennemy jungler is way better than u, that your team flame you. Can we talk about fun anymore ? We don’t want to play roles we don’t like AND IT’S NORMAL. If I want to play mid why so the game placed me on a another lane and don’t wait longer to find a game in which I can be mid. I want to rank up with Diana, maybe later I will appreciate an another champ on an another lane but here why 1/5 I have to dodge just because I don’t want to risk a lose, bc i’m Pretty sure I will not have fun because I play something indon’t Like and will ragequit bc don’t want to be autofill again. Ît’s just a stupid system of matchmaking that no one like.

I have to agree with the OP on this. Id rather wait 15-20 mins (which wouldnt even be the case) watch a show in the meantime or do anything rather than get into a game especially in ranked jjust to lose LP because i have an autofilled support who's hiding behind their adc or an autofilled jungler who has no clue how to path. And the problem is, it isnt even their fault they didnt want to jungle or support they were forced to. This leads to stomps in games which in turn ruins the entire game. Let this happen 2-4 games in a row and it gets tilting really fast.
