A hot dumpster fire named Kog'maw

This is just my opinion, but I'm going with it.

All these ADCs are getting buffs and changes, but kog'maw has been consistently bottom tier for the better part of the season. He received a buff to the range on his rank 1 ult, but that is not what he needed. I heard a while ago that there may be work coming on his passive, but nothing has come. Rageblade, his core item received changes, those have had little effect on his position as a dumpster fire adc. I understand that he is supposed to be a late game power house that shreds tanks, but he is so immobile that you have to give up way too much to survive laning phase to be effective late. Even when you do get to the point where you are strong there is more than likely someone on the enemy's team who will dive you, and kill you since you have no escape or defense built into your kit.

kai'sa is just a replacement for him tbh, i use to like him a lot but riot seems like they just want to forget about him. probably the least popular adc.

I don't have too much of a problem getting Kog'maws out of the laning phase compared to most Ezreals and Tristanas. Most people who play him now are experienced Kog'maw players. If he has a decent support and is experienced, then he'll make it. Others get bullied way too easily.

The issue is the damage that mage supports bring are making the early game learning curve much steeper than it was before as they can delete champions with 1-2 spells early game. Kog'maw is one of the champs hurt by this new botlane meta, but he is hardly the one suffering the most from it.

Paying your pound of flesh early game as an ADC/non-Mage support feels even more pointless lately since early game champions no longer fall off either.

Kog maw has a near 52 percent winrate now and is very good with a strong support combo.
