Ranked Elo Decay?
Didn't know if this was the place to ask.
I haven't played since S7. When I do placements will I go against people who are the elo I was at then, or will it start me from scratch? I dun wanna ruin people's games lol

Should start you where you left off, I believe. It's preseason though so don't worry too much.
If you don't play for a prolonged amount of time your MMR gets reset to completely average
So let's say you were Gold 4 last time you played rank, you will be playing in high silver - low gold with crap LP gains as the system's trying to determine where you belong again, your placements will have some pretty weird LP amounts but it shouldn't be anything insane due to the gap of activity
Yeah, as the other comment said, it should put you back at your old level, but don't worry about other people and just power through it. It's nice of you to be considerate like that, but life happens, and if your team-mates give you sh*t over that, they are the problem, not you.
Whatever MMR the account ended season 7 with will be the MMR you play at whenever you play again. Your rank will be reset but your MMR wouldn't change.
