PSA: Don't mindlessly push a wave when it might be better just to let them come in for your carry

.... *edit:I am referring more so to support who stay in lane to push when you die/recall or will roam just to split push because a wave is moving towards the tower. When team mates should take time to consider your idea regardless, but instead they ignore you completely and greed.

Depending on how safe it is... what your hardcore Support should do, is try and freeze the wave on your side of the river, but before the wave hits tower range. This might even mean standing in front of them, and taking hits from the minions until your ADC gets back to lane. ...I'd still try and CS the ones that are about to die, because someone ought to get that gold.

The problem with this is that standing in front of an enemy wave and getting pecked to death by them makes you very gankable.

I have to take my foot out of my mouth, and I completely forgot about macro plays like freezing. You ought to make a post about wave concepts, like pushing and freezing and also how impacts micro plays, like a lane gank on a support. I think it would be very beneficial to remind people about these concepts as the new season hits. While people are going to focus more on micro plays (with the new rune/mastery setups) and maybe not pay attention to other concepts of the game.

Oh no, man. I'm practically a noob. Everything I know about Lane & Wave management I learned from watching Anklespankin.

I don't understand the situation. What do you mean by "let them come in [for your carry]"? Are you talking about a jungler pushing a wave when you're dead or back at base?

PSA: if I pinged that I’m on my way to a wave and you start pathing towards it instead of any other source of farm on the map, I am going to take the entire wave and not reward you for your misplay.
