Am I the only one who think /remake is a huge mistake and is just making people waste so much time because its way too early in the game.The afk player doesnt even have the time to reconnect before the remake vote is made.it gets me really mad when people do remake even when someone with the afk say hes comming back . Most of the time the remake vote is accepted just as the afk come back and it makes everyone waste around 20-30 min because people cant wait 5 min for the guy to actually log back in. Im sorry if my english is bad but i felt the need to make a thread because its something that if its not fixed could make me stop playing the game. Not everybody have the time to take a whole day and play 10-15 game and remake as soon a someone isnt there AFTER 3 MIN. I dont know if it would make more sense but for me it does that the remake should be around 6-7 min and not 3 min. Specially since now the champ select take around 6-10 min. I also think it shoudnt even be an option in Normals games. Please tell me if im wrong and if so why is it so important to have something like this in normals game and 3 min in the game.

yes you're the only one.

because most of the time, the player who manages to reconnect.. just dcs again during the match.

so im the only one who never get actual afk and only loading problem players. Out of the 6-7 remake i did all of them were accepted even tho the player reconnected and it happened to me once where my laptop just decided to close league. I reconnected and they made a remake .I woudnt have disconnected again... Maybe its justified for some of the afk and disconnection , but most of these problems happen when the game already started for a while and someone disconnect.I can understand that ranked need this feature but I still think that making this in normal is really stupid.

consistent wins in normals are almost as important as ranked. yeah normals are for "practice". However, if your ELO tanks into ELO hell.. you wont get adequate practice for the "real" games in ranked.

trivial example that might actually register with you: What good is it to "practice" against bronzies, when your ranked elo is silver?

well then they should make a queue were it doesnt affect anything. I dont know, im just saying that because of this thing i cant even play anymore because im too busy and i dont have 4 hours to put for 2 games.

Man, if you ain't there at minion spawn (arguably even before because of jungle invades) you've already put your team at a disadvantage because of your potato computer and coat hanger Internet.

So yes, the remake is over 9000% justified.

Dont tell me you never came back of a 4v5 or after a player disconnected and came back. I understand that ranked need a system like this but it shoudnt be a thing in normal. When i play in normal its because i just want to play a quick game without caring about winning and trying. Having an afk or a disconnected player just give more challenge .Wasting time to do a game with other player, other champions , and another 10 min queue and champion select is not worth for a normal game. And by the way , im not making this because im the player that get disconnected, im making this because i dont have time to waste on remake and that i prefer to play a 4v5 and even a 4v5 with a fed enemy than making a remake.

You can win a 4 v 5 but the point of the matter is that you shouldn't be forced to play at a disadvantage just because of someone else's issues.

Now as far as your argument that it isn't worth it in normals: That's your perogative and obviously not one that's shared with the rest of your team members. You might believe that it's not worth the additional 10 minute in queue but obviously your other 3 teammates don't share that same opinion. Therefore much like surrenders, it works by having a super majority.

2/4 isnt majority . it should be out of at least 3 people vote and not only 2 and also , It happened to me at least 2 times where me and another didnt want to make the remake and it still did because the 2 other were in premade with the afk and the afk actually just wanted to dodge the game without time penalty!

The AFK does game the time penalty and in ranked the premades actually lose LP so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

the afk doesnt get the time penalty if he reconnect while the remake vote is happening. And im not talking about ranked, i know its a needed feature there.

No because if we had to wait an extra 4 minutes to remake, together everyone just wasted 36 more minutes. Remake is great how it is. The DC already has the time in the loading screen (which lasts longer when someone isn't connecting), and an extra 3 minutes once the game starts. If they're still not able to connect by then, then in game they'll not only be behind by a substantial amount, but they'll likely have a slow connection and be high risk to DC again.
