they are useless and 10x harder than normal games so its just an endless cycle for me win 2 games, get into promos and instantly lose whether its because of bad teams or random dc's resulting in my laner getting fed its usually impossible for me to win them so i cant really get further up the ladder
Imo its stupid system and i hate it. Instead of doing it like: 200lp and auto climb after reach it without any series could be better,or even old "elo"system with 0 - endless number could be better. The whole system of the series was supposed to be a kind of reward and it is just a blocking of the quick acquisition of "elo". I understand that after each "mini series" you get some blue essence or orange, but unfortunately not. For this the most frustrating part is BO5 where we win the first 2 and then lose 3 falling to +/- 40 LP.

Promotion games exist because Riot wants demotion protection to exist.
