The items dat you have in your inventory should have the same order when you press Tab and see your items.
if you press tab.. the lanes should have order. top jungle mid adc bot.. atm people put it manual to the places where they should be for nice structure.

Marthian1 votesDon't really use tab to check your items. It (afaik) orders items on all champions based on cost, with more expensive items being first. Use the bottom bar to organize items. An option to use the old system (as optional) would be ok, but honestly, I think the way they have it is much more informational at a glance.
Doubt this would be easy to implement. Due to champions being able to go to multiple lanes, fulfill multiple roles, etc, I doubt it could do it on the fly. (I don't even think the websites that track champions and their roles do this either, only being able to tell who went where post game.)
