If I was a Platinum ranked player in Season 5 and my friend was a Silver ranked player in Season 5, is it possible to duo Q for promos?
Also, why allow people to skip the one division restriction and be able to queue with people two ranks away in dynamic queue? Didn't you just bring back boosting?
LaoBushido1 votesI think it depends on current rank in this case you should both be I ranked so you should be able to do it for promos but the fastest way to gain confirmation on that is to test it out yourselves .
If you are referring to how someone in game might be a higher rank than someone else ( finding out via league of legends Nexis ) they could've been matched up that way because placements is pretty weird. But no boosting was not brought back you're still only allowed to be a maximum of one rank discrepancy between all party members
