The solution to what everyone points out as the problem of LOL and the ranked system
Hi all!
I'm sure that you've heard many people complaining about matchmaking, saying that it's the most important thing that tells if the game will be won or lost, I'm sad to admit that I share this point of view (even if I know that a team of nonskilled player can win vs skilled trolls). Even when ranked at same level (like for exemple B3) there will be people that... only judging by the gameplay they are showing... don't deserve to be even in B4 (I know what you are thinking everyone can have a bad game... And that's true! but a bad game is not 20bad games in a row...)
In fact there are many players that look like they are at their level cause they got heavely carried by their different teams cause they did have some luck (or their ennemies got trolled by a player(bad luck for them)) so they could win the games to reach their actual rank and when they are in a team, that maybe is not composed of the best players of this rank, they begin to feed not voluntary at first but in the end they end doing it on purpose so the team surrenders quick cause they don't want to "earn" a win (by trying hard) they want to receive a win (get carried) To sum up they destroy a game that maybe was lost from begining (aka smurfland ;) ) but the problem in this case is not the win or defeat the problem is you can't enjoy a game when all the ennemy team has been fed by only one player... It's extremely raging to lose a game with only 2 deaths and twice as much kills and assists only cause your ennemy laner got 10kills by killing you just 2times and the dumbiest player of the game 8 times!!! you lose cause a player fucked up (on purpose or not!)
And I think I have a solution : the solution could be that inside a division (B3 for exemple) there can be a "second ranking" that split player in function of their "feeding skills" for exemple : looking on the last 20games a player made, we have his average death/game, and we can use this to create different groups for exemple: -average of [0-7] death/game -average of ]7-14] death/game -average of ]15+] death/game (this is crazy I can understand a game or two with more than 14deaths but an average of 15death is the proof that you are not playing at your level or that you are trolling)
With this you have to put in the same team, players with the same "feeding skills", and if possible make them play against a team made with players with the same "feeding skills" for exemple: 15+ vs 15+ 0-7 vs 0-7
if not possible make a team fight a team with just a level of feeding skill of difference
15+ vs 7-14
0-7 vs 7-14
0-7 vs 15+ (only if there is no players 7-14 wich would make my mouth fall to the ground)
if not possible (we can't make the "groups of feeding skillz" not enough people with same "feeding skills" to make 1 or 2 groups)
burst the "group of feeding skills" to create the teams with the "feeding skills"
player A=0death; player B=2death ;C=8death ;D=10Death ;E=11death ;F=22Death G=31death ;H=1death ;I= 9death J=14death
team 1 = A+H+B+C+I team 2 =D+E+J+F+G
OMG THIS LAST ONE IS NOT BALANCED at all!!! player D gonna kill someone! Yes I know but the goal of this is to make players that tend to **not **make their team lose go to a higher level till they begin to make their team lose and a contrario those who tend to make their team lose go to lower level till they stop being the principal cause of defeat of the team in wich they play.
All this will have 2 mega positive impacts: -players will be aware that feeding is bad for their team (I prefer a player with kda=0/0/0 than a player with a kda=15/15/0 cause I will not fight someone that got 15*300gold more than I have in case I'm 0/0/0) -players will improve their skills and game lecture: if I know that feeding is bad maybe I will think a bit before taking yi (it's this champ that I most saw kamikazing under turrets) to follow the ennemy beside his T1 and T2 to end up dying in his T3 without having done any damage (I actually saw a fiora doing this against a Darius who had his ult) .........#whereismybrain.........
