Ravenous Howls2 votesAnd almost half your roster are not tanks. Darius, Garen, Nasus, Yorick, Mordekaiser and Illaoi are juggernauts. Hecarim is a fighter. Swain is a mage who happens to heal off his ult. Voli, Gragas and Cho are debatable tanks as they typically build 2-3 damage items in their builds. Even Mundo is hardly a tank with one ability granting a slow and its a skill shot. Tanks are typically defined by having a lot of hard CC in their kits and can hit hard but typically have trouble sustaining DPS.
Only Sej, Zac and Amu are being addressed in the tank update and some of the tank items.
Brutalitops011 votesThe tank class update is coming this year, and you know what the main focus seems to be? Making tanks have more CC, but less damage. In fact, there are rioter quotes saying that it should be releasing in patch 7.6-7.8 range. Meaning, wait another 4-6 weeks and you'll get your tank balance changes.
