Why I am FCKing penalized when someone goes AFK in ranked?

Why Riot, tell me? When someone goes AFK I want to leave ranked match immediately without penalization and wasting my time!

I would so abuse the crap out of this in ranked. Always duo "OH SHIT, we're going to lose! flip coin of which of us AFKs so the other can leave" That way only one person is penalized for the incoming loss.

What he said. Riot has repeated over and over that not penalizing players for AFKs is abusable. It's not going to change.

It means one game out of 6 where you have an afk could be a win if you took the time to play it until the end.

You shouldnt play ranked if it's to bring in a loser's mentality.

If you win every single game when the afk is in the other team (and that should happen more frequently than in your team), yes it's totaly win/win.

The point was you still have a chance to win even if someone is afk in your team.
