So a champion can one-shot someone, get back out, go back in again in a matter of seconds, and destroy their backline before anyone can even blink, or do anything to stop her, and does this by pressing e,q,w,w,e,q,r. everyone should know by now that in talking about katarina. the champion's abilities are great, but its like the damage was turned up to around 3 times what it should be, and its kinda stupid at this point. there have even been buffs proposed for katarinas ult to go down to 15 seconds at rank 3. instead of buffing the already insane champion that is katarina, maybe riot should look at the game from the perspective of people who cant just take assassin combos and live, or the assassins that are doing the one shotting, and Nerf assassins back to a balanced and non-ridiculous state, instead of leaving them how they are, and just making squishies see more grey than colors. maybe all of the assassins need a nerf, but katarina just came to my attention because of the insane buff to katarina that is coming to the pbe. Riot pls, nerf the assasins!

They need to buff the ult and nerf everything else on kat. She needs to have a massive damage overhaul to put 60% of her damage on her ultimate instead of the 30% that it currently is

To be honest, assassins are there to clean up the squishies. Should it be your team's job to defend the adc (or the mage, or whoever's carrying) during a teamfight and should it be the carrier's job to position himself correctly.

Katarina needs her kit to jump in and out of a teamfight without dying in the process (CC shuts her down pretty hard, that's why a team with no Hard CC gets easily dealt with), the old katarina was just ... obnoxious and ridiculous. I mean, I understand the fustration of some when they claim Katarina is broken and unbalanced at certain levels and I kinda have to admit it is. But every single of them (assassins) has disadvantages - Katarina has tons of them, you just need to take a decent look at her - Not just play 2-5 games against one and say she is broken because she managed to kill you at level 3-5. Personally, when I go against a katarina I look forward into staying as far as I can from any dagger she lands and punish her when she fails to correctly position her dagger - Magic Resist should be a must from part of all your teammates, considering her ultimate gets washed away completely.

About the 15 seconds at rank 3, that was reverted (most of the people talk about that without even knowing the current nerfs) - And it is simply because her winrate falls from 70-60% in early game to 48% in late game - Simply because ... Magic Resist (and tankiness) starts to be a critical issue.

As a conclusion, I just think most of the people have no idea how to counter katarina and they simply go around asking for nerfs - Can't really do much to those people. Although, if your team also picks a full-squishy team, don't expect it to be katarina's damage's fault.

I completely agree. I just played a game as Bard, it was late game and everyone was full build, I had 3.3k health, 220 magic resist, banshee's veil AND locket and she would consistently kill me in under 2.5 seconds. It's a joke that she doesn't even need to use her ult to one shot people anymore and it's a joke that she can kill tanks that quickly. She used to be the squishy killer but now she can kill everyone regardless of how tanky you are in a similar amount of time. And to the people saying "Oh just stun her" that's a hilarious joke because you can't stun her with skillshots, she blinks too frequently and unless you have a Lissandra or someone with a point and click stun that's the only way you'll be able to stop her. Stop being simple minded and saying "oh just stun her" when she can easily play around that and there aren't many champs anymore who can deal with her changes. Katarina's damage output is way too high and it's a joke that she can kill you this quickly WITHOUT using her ult. It would make more sense if she could chunk you WITHOUT being able to blink and be extremely hard to hit with skillshots but that's not the case. NERF THIS STUPID CHAMPION

Like most assassins, she is shut down quickly with CC. And she is NOT broken. How, you ask? I mean, if she;s fed of course she'll one shot you. Almost anyone will if they're fed. Just CC her when she jumps in.
