LoL Season 5 Ranked format
So 2014 was my first season and I don't know how LoL formats each new season, but will ranked statues (Bronze,silver,Gold) be reset or stay the same. I only ask because 2014 season has ended yet ranked is still available.

They do a soft mmr reset. Ranked is open(preseason) for you to continue building on that mmr you have so that when they do the soft reset, and you do your 10 provisional games, you'll have a chance at placing higher, as long as you didn't drop mmr before the rest.
