When your adc or mid has 20+ kills by 25-30 minutes and STILL can't carry a game.

I'm tired of seeing adc's or mid laners who have 20+ kills at like 25-30 minutes into the game yet they STILL cannot carry a game for the life of them. All they do is last hit a champion or two and walk out after they get the kill. They never push objectives, they never show up to baron or dragon half the time because last hitting a few minions is TOO important for any of that right? And OH, with ALL that gold you think they would be able to buy a ward or two, right? LMAO, no... they don't.

After all that, they then have the nerve to complain about teammates. Even though the teammates are clearly doing their job and providing all the crowd control and damage during the fights and tanking all the damage, apparently to that carry you just aren't doing anything to carry a game. No matter how many objectives you push and how many dragons or barons you secure according to that carry if you specifically don't have kills, you aren't carrying.

This mentality is the cancer of this game. Because people just think "If you have kills you are obviously carrying." Kills are only half of the game, with objectives being the second half. If you have kills but aren't taking objectives, then good luck winning. You can still win a game without many kills but by purely pushing objectives. BUT, according to that all knowing adc or mid main if you don't have kills then you are some useless scrub who has no idea how to play the game.

GG all support, Jungle's and tanks because since we usually don't have the most kills on the team we are equal to scum and might as well be afk according to the all powerful, all knowing adc or mid main.

TL;DR ADC or Mid has tons of kills yet still can't carry a game because they suck at the game and then whine that everyone else sucks even if they are doing their job well.

Sometimes an easy early game makes your team cocky and lazy, and the opponents start to work harder and take it seriously. Doesn't mean the person sucks, this is a human thing that we do.

I've had a game (a long time ago) where I was caitlyn adc. Our whole team was behind in kills, myself included from a few ganks. I was cs' ing really well though, and when I hit my IE+PD power spike I just took control. I was something like 26-7, but both top and mid were down something like 3-12.

I single handedly won three team fights, where we aced the other team at our inhibitor turrets. I pushed objectives, taking all 3 mid Lane towers and the inhibitor, taking all 3 bot towers, and taking 2 top towers.

Nothing mattered though. My team was so far behind, the entire enemy team eventually just bought thornmail and I basically killed myself in team fights. One of my teammates also afk'd because he was getting mad at me for "not sharing kills" (Firstly, my teammates were being jerks to him when he said that because obviously they wanted me to carry, I said nothing back to him and asked him to stay but teammates told him to leave, and it's kind of hard to share kills when I kill their squishies in 2 autos and their tanks in 4...).

Anyways, around 45 min their swain, j4, and I don't remember who was mid Lane, managed to get enough of a build that my lead evaporated (as I had been full build for a while) and they won the game. Admittedly, it's 4v5 so maybe that's what stopped me carrying, but the point is that sometimes the carry gets a lot of kills because of their own skill (pretty much j4 ulted me and I netted over the wall and he didn't take it down so I'd get 3 free kills from his ult), but can't carry because top/mid/jg all fed enough to make the other team strong enough to stall until they caught up in build.

To be honest, I've had several Games where I get myself ridiculously fed as an adc or mid, all from 1v1s and 1v2s or with my support when adc, but the other lanes feed even harder. These are different because obviously if you're not the most fed you can't be expected to carry... The one above is my only game where I was by far the most fed on the map and couldn't do anything with it.

It's a team game. No win is ever due to just 1 player, and no loss is ever due to just 1 player. 1 player can make a difference, and 2/3 can probably be enough to guarantee a result, but never just 1 (outside of intentional feeding).
