Why League of Legends is the worst game!

First of all LoL is the most unbalanced game known to man. CC rules the rift and with new champs like kalista ( who auto kite and juke for you ) and reksai who is like Skarner 2.0 coming out what are you suppose to do? Now you can all say you're just a noob and blah blah.... I encourage you to take an outer look on LoL. Why in competitive play do we only see the same 12-16 champs played? Why does Riot make 2000000000 champions but can only make 20 or less viable ( aka OP ). Now let me turn my attention to the community! I'm sure you have all heard the nickname "League of Children" that's because its true. It is NOT just a funny joke anymore i have afks or intentional feeders at least every other game OH BUT DON'T WORRY! We have the Riot tribunal and banning system.... yea that is purely terrifying ..... not .... with punishments such as lower priority Que's and limited to a certain amount of chats per game you will never fix anything. Lastly, I want to address champions such as Xerath and Swain and the other boat load of them that have skill shots .... but are they really skill shots? Not only are they less then .5 second delays but are also about as wide as a truck. In conclusion, I hope Riot burns and the salt is real!

Alright. I'm not a Red, but I'll answer this rationally, and respond to each grievance to the best of my ability.

tl;dr at the bottom.

I'll start with a general observation: You don't understand the game development or balancing process at all.

I would also be willing to place money on you not having played until about S3, maybe the middle of it.

First of all LoL is the most unbalanced game known to man.

This gave me a chuckle, and was the beginning of the suspicion that became the above observation. LoL is rather more balanced than a number of games out there, but the "balance point" is constantly shifting with every new bit of content released, hence the need to constantly change. Perhaps it's not as balanced as other MOBAs, fine. I do concede that, as I only play one other and cannot judge them all. But it's a far cry from the "most unbalanced."

CC rules the rift

Legitimate point. But this is much better than pure damage ruling the Rift, and if I had to have it one way or the other (and it would have to be one or the other, given how balance works), I would keep it as-is.

new champs like kalista ( who auto kite and juke for you ) and reksai who is like Skarner 2.0 coming out what are you suppose to do?

Almost acceptable. The tech that was used when League first came out is laughable compared to the tech they have now. This was actually in a Dev blog around.... Rengar? about how they've been able to update the engine to the point of being able to try new and interesting things. So, naturally, the new champs are going to outdo the old ones until they all get pulled up to the same level. Which just takes a lot of time, but they're (slowly) working on it.

Why in competitive play do we only see the same 12-16 champs played?

I could go back to balance and drone on about it, but this is more about optimization of DPS on the player's end. Simply put, they pick who they pick because they want the shortest, most effective path to victory. That happens to be a fairly small pool right now. Enlarging that pool is actually on Riot's end, and they're trying to find a path to it that doesn't involve making everyone OP. Which answers the next sentence, I believe.

I'm sure you have all heard the nickname "League of Children" that's because its true.

I've never heard this, but the community is rather immature, easily one of the worst. If not the worst. Intentional feeds, trolls and AFKs are all serious problems. I feel like the forum rants don't help, though. We need more reasoned discussion! Which brings me to my next quote and response:

We have the Riot tribunal and banning system.... yea that is purely terrifying ..... not .... with punishments such as lower priority Que's and limited to a certain amount of chats per game you will never fix anything.

I would actually like to hear your counter-proposal, complete with details on how to deal with false positives. In theory, a cautious system makes fewer mistakes. And sometimes, players do get better after this. It's less about punishment, and more about reform.

Lastly, I want to address champions such as Xerath and Swain and the other boat load of them that have skill shots .... but are they really skill shots? Not only are they less then .5 second delays but are also about as wide as a truck.

I.....what? Okay. Swain isn't in this category, actually. It's technically a targeted AoE skill with a delay, because an instant cast on his root would make him broken. I suppose you included it because "skillshot" is a catchall term for any skill that isn't guaranteed to hit. Rather than dodging to the side, most players step into the creep wave to avoid damage. And given the number of champions with some sort of mobility skill, this isn't an issue. Indeed, they have to be wide to catch players at all, unless they have a fast projectile speed.

In conclusion, I hope Riot burns and the salt is real!

Way to stick it to 'em. This post is clearly a shining beacon of how the players here should act.

Sarcasm aside......Eh, I got nothing more. I tried.

tl;dr - If you dislike the game this much, and are unwilling to give it another shot, you are not being held here against your will. Go find some other game to enjoy, if your experience is so bad.

I see your point and this is why I hardly play this game anymore. Yes, there was some obvious biased in my rant but I don't really care haha. In my opinion Riot should stop making champs and fix the old ones ... it would be like creating 50 new champs. Yes, this would take time but for the people that like urgot and yorick and etc, it would make all the difference and add more variety and content to the game. Maybe instead of changing the rift and such.. for next season they should focus on itemization and updating old champs like they have done semi-recently. But yea think whatever you want

Ever heard of an hyperbole you dipshiz

ok then, sorry:(

But yes you do make some legitimate points, but LoL is FFAAARRRR from the most unbalanced game. There are imperfections and problems here and there, but riot does try and make the best experience for players, including game mods, new content, etc. They try and focus on pleasing their community of various opinions, but sometimes have to block them out and do things on what they think is right (the upcoming elise skin color variations and such for example).

Your most accurate statement is definitely the community. League of Legends has supposedly by far the worst community. You can't argue with that.

At least you have guts to express your statement:)

Wow I have never seen so much hate for Riot ever! I'll answer each point as I see your problem with them.

Point 1 - "First of all LoL is the most unbalanced game known to man." EVERY GAME known to man can be considered unbalanced by any one person whom does not like any given set of rules, strategies, units, characters, abilities, or items. That does not mean they are unbalanced, it simply means a person does not like how the game is and wants it changed to a form that is more suitable for them.

Point 2 - "CC rules the rift" The entire point of CC is to disrupt the enemy. Without CC the game would become entirely different all together. You would no longer have to dodge any skill shot CC and thus your skill at movement in the game would drop dramaticly. While without other forms of CC such as Leona's Q, you would not learn to pick your battles and fight accordingly to the champions your are facing.

Point 3 - "new champs like kalista ( who auto kite and juke for you ) and reksai who is like Skarner 2.0 coming out what are you suppose to do?" For Kalista, I have literally only seen one person play her in any of my matches since she has been released and today's date is 12/25/2014! She is widely regarded as a "weak" ADC and normally forgotten in ranked. While Rek'sai I have both lost to and won against. Rek'sai is slightly harder to play than what her stats tell you. For her all you have to do when fighting her is deal more damage and she will back off. I've down this plenty as Shyvana.

Point 4 - "Why in competitive play do we only see the same 12-16 champs played? Why does Riot make 2000000000 champions but can only make 20 or less viable ( aka OP )." We see the same champions over and over in ranked gameplay because those are peoples favorite champions. While any given champion can be considered op if fed early game by a team mate making a mistake, Riot really has taken great care and hundreds of hours play testing to make sure that champions are not op from the get go. And Riot does make adjustments to stats and ability damage whenever the community feels that a champion is too powerful and can not be played against.
