Ranked flex

Hello everyone! i was just wondering, because i noticed this every game i have played ranked flex (5 games now) why im paired up with teams that are already ranked? all of them seem to be silver or gold, or just gold last year. Its very difficult lol, im not complaining here just wondering. Im gonna end up in bronze 4 or 5 I know my fate, and im okay with that.
