He literally just got nerfed.

That being said, if a Warwick is allowed to freefarm in his own jungle he still becomes a very potent duelist, and that suppress on his ult is nothing to scoff at. He can effectively turn off one champion of his choosing in a teamfight, and that can easily win a fight if he does it to the right person.

If you're up against a Warwick, keep vision up. Particularly near the bottom lane, as he's going to be trying to put a lot of pressure there as it's easier for him to get fed there. It's also closer to his blue buff, which he needs for his jungling, and the CDR helps him during fights. Once you have vision, try and play it safe so that he doesn't have easy ganks bottom lane. If you're below half health in any lane, don't ever try to push farther than the halfway point of your lane no matter how low the enemy is, unless you KNOW that Warwick is on the other side of the map. His movement speed buff will make ganking you incredibly easy, and can turn an all in that might have gotten you the kill into a free kill for him and an assist for his laner.

A Warwick is incredibly susceptible to counterjungling as well. If you see them lock in Warwick during champ select, assuming you're playing a mode that has draft pick happening, try and pick a strong counterjungler. Even if you're playing blind, or they pick Warwick after seeing who you picked, try and counterjungle anyways. It puts a major hitch in his giddyup, and even if your jungler isn't quite the strongest counterjungler it'll still leave them stronger than Warwick in general. Punish him in his own jungle, keep him from being able to freefarm camps, and he falls off a lot faster. It hinders his ability to make the money he needs for his damage items, possibly forcing him into a more defensive role when he starts falling behind in terms of damage, and it prevents him from getting stacks on his Devourer's as quickly.

And if you're playing a tank, just build a Thornmail. Those tend to hurt him pretty good. If you happen to have ignite on whoever you're playing, use it on him during teamfights before he ults someone if you can, or as soon as you can after he has jumped to them, to reduce the amount he's actually healing from it with Ignite's healing reduction.

Outside of that, just watch your positioning. Warwick is a very hand-holdy champ. He's an entry level jungler who's got a very simple and straightforwards kit. But that means that, much like Yi, he's also incredibly effective at punishing small mistakes made by other players because he only needs a small window of opportunity to make one person's life a living hell at a time.
