Akali Revert 2019

2 Months before Akali gets reworked I was maining this champion..Let's not get to my things...This champion is at least 8-9 years to the League of Legends community and in these years they were so many akali mains that had fun playing their champion...And suddenly riot strikes with a rework and made akali something like a totally new champion...It is way more difficult to play and the old akali mains [most of them] can not afford this new rework...I mean most of akali mains if not all will have right and complain to riot about their champion..Akali's new rework the W ability i mean imo it is the most broken ability to the game..Not taking absolutely no damage from tower is broken af...I am actually sad this champion got reworked and I would like it to get revert just like many ppl said..For instance TF Blade one of the best Akali mains..Nevertheless some people will comment yo riot will not keep old things only new and this thing wont get reverted...Actually rengar q got reworken and they reverted to the old one as I remember...Anyways tell me ur thoughts I personally want Akali to get reverted...Have a nice day

This is wrong. She cant evade tower damage with just W. You can at best use it with a minion wave to drop aggro if you time it well. That situation she will evade damage. if you cast it under tower alone, you always take damage if you break the stealth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL2kUaivauQ I start by showing how I drop aggro with a wave. And that if you make mistakes you get hit. at 135 I show that you cant evade damage without minions.

Plenty of champions can drop aggroe in a minion wave. Plenty of champions are a huge threat to a target with a minion wave. W on akali does not change this.

The entire time she is going to be tracked, you can see her with tower vision. So its kind of on players to not stand in her Q range if they don't have aoe or abilitys are not off Cd. You should actively use akali's "shadow" as a guide to stay out out of range.

Have you seen the ban rate of Akali by this new rework?In gold + it is 54%+....I ll take that for what you saying for her w but still broken the old w was spotting akali [i mean tower] and hit her all time...Sorry about english tho

I was simply correcting something you said that's misleading. I don't mind people complaining, I do usualy take issue with some one exaggerating so grossly that what is said can be treated like a lie.

Another example of this. " 54%" I do not know where you are getting this number. Currently what I see is a ban rate of 5.85% at her highest in Plat + Mmr. I get this # from https://champion.gg/faq/?league=platplus. They use Riots API so their data should be accurate.

I don't mind if players want to ban Akali instead of just counter play. I am not sold ban rates are a fantastic measure of game health. Its very common to see a "weak" rework or new champion be high ban rate.

The counter play to her W thou? that's pretty easy, shouldn't be all to hard for players to adapt to it. Many wont thou, its a Shame/ There used to be a time where it was accepted that a good solution to a strong or popular champion was to learn their hard counters or counter play. Instead folks just ban it.

Role selection really bumped the # of OTP's up.

Do you not believe that some old mains now don't want to play this champ?Cause i was one trick Akali...Also that 54% i just saw a vid on yt sorry if I typed something wrong I do not know the best english but that is not the issue

Hell man, I completely believe there are players who want reverts for champions who they did not even main. They just liked the old kit more. I know that each time a rework is done the game loses players. Some dedicated mains or OTP will quit because they hated the change.

No problem about 54% issues.. I don't mind at all if you have the wrong data. It would bother me if you just randomly made up a number.

My biggest issue with your post was

I hate that people keep saying this exaggeration. Its untrue, and simply takes playing the champion 1 time and using W alone at a tower to realize that its a myth.

Your English is pretty ok, some stuff may get lost in translation but I have not struggled with how you type. Honestly man, kudos to you for being multilingual.

What is wrong with her shroud? Her kit is new, every new kit gets complained about on this board. People hate Yasuo, people hate Zoe, people hate Pyke, people hate every rework, people just hate and compromising with them is impractical and would never satisfy anyone.

There's also item 3056, but negating turret aggro is not worth buying... why is it so broken on Akali? If it was as broken as people are making it out to be then Ohmwrecker must be the strongest item in the game... Right?

the problem is with Akali, she takes one turret shot after chunking you for like 30% of your full HP, hides to reset turret damage scaling, rinse repeat.

But this is also what Fizz does. He dashes in under a turret, only gets hit once before jumping and resting the damage from the turret, except him resetting turret damage also deals damage. This is why tank Fizz was nerfed to hell after his launch, because he would just dance under a tower the whole game and never die.

Plenty of champions have been famous for tower diving and shrugging off the damage. If it truly becomes a problem on Akali, like the champions of the past, she will get nerfed.

Definitely, the reason new Akali is so annoying to most people is the lack of safety that they find underneath towers, and removing that mechanic would improve gameplay a ton. That way, it's pretty much the same as the old shroud just in a doughnut shape. The new gameplay imo is perfectly fine and actually really good, just the true stealth was what kinda ruined the rework and forced Riot to nerf her until she's sitting at a 42% winrate.

Rengar was reverted, but he wasn't changed THAT much. This won't happen for Akali, because Riot wasted too much money on it, you know, full relaunch and all those skins.

It's like that movie where you don't go in the fog cause if you go in the fog things are gonna make you die

but if you stay out of the fog you'll be fine

you may need to concede a tower but honestly that's about it

people hyperbolize akali's towerdiving potential yet i've never seen any do it to me more than once, let alone succeed

It's honestly real, but i mean I was smart enough to be like "Ok imma just step back out of her E range, and lay down some AOE spam while i do that" and I was fine

I'm a jayce main so akali isn't much of an issue for me by nature of the champions lining up, but seeing how she plays, I think the only champs that would have much of an issue with her diving them would be artillery mages who have the win condition of standing really far away (So they lost with or without her shroud being a thing) and outdated/inferior assassins or fighters who need reworks

meanwhile any mage player can just pick galio or zyra and hard counter her

I was a OTP Akali with 2.6 milion on all accounts... Sens the reworck was released i was hopeing she will get back to the old version i taled a lot about that... She maybe is harder to play but i not about it, the think is that is not fun to play her anymore and every main Akali wanna the old Akali to be back... Riot failed that reworck.... Sad...
