6-4 IN PROVISIONALS IS BRONZE 5? WTF RIOT?

You had Bronze 5 MMR last season.

maybe because you were bronze 5 last season? I went 6-4 and ended up in gold 2 QQ

I got 6-4 last season and I ended up in B4 I think. I don't think the placement matches matter, I think your MMR plays a bigger role than your placement standings. Because of the average beginning of season fun fest I am currently 2-6 right now. A huge flip from last year. Oh well, I am not too worried about my placement, I got out of bronze last season, I can do it again. Hopefully you can do the same.

It is just stupid that I WON games, 6 of them, and I get put the in LOWEST bracket possible. I could have won zero games and got placed in the same bracket, or 1 game or 2,3,4,5 you get the point. I wasn't bronze 5 at the end of the season either.

I won half my matches and matches I did win, I got s+ ratings. still landed in bronze 5. idk how there system calculates where you should be put, but it seriously needs to be reworked. two seasons ago I got silver, and last season i got bronze 5 but worked my way up to bronze 2, but stopped playing rank cause I got tired of not enjoying the game (taking it too seriously and not just having fun), and also took interests in other games. I honestly felt I had improved quite a bit since last season, and figured I would at least land silver or bronze 1 or 2. than I get slapped in the face with bronze 5. if it goes off mmr they need to stop that. they added these ratings you get for how well you played your champ that game, this is where it should be doing its calculating. come on riot get with the program. just the thought of having to work my way up again from bronze 5? makes playing this game in general feel like a depressing thought, and unfortunately they took away team builder (love having the choice of who I want to play) which makes it seem even more a drag. sorry for those who won the majority of their games but still landed in bronze though. the system needs work obviously, as the majority of players are in bronze.

The Challenge. If you're not willing to climb out of bronze, then that's your problem, and not riot's. I finished the season in diamond and i got Gold II, and yet i'm not mad, because this makes it much more easier to climb back up to the place i finished last season. I'd rather have 1-2 weeks of climibig than starting exactly where i left off or even higher, and possibly go on a losing/tilt streak.

1. I don't know how can last season even effect your current result when playing Provisionals. That is past. Leave it so. If I get bronze 10 in past and got better over playing normals. and then I try do my best and end up in B5 because of last season that seems like wast of time. There should be "skip" button when starting new Season. And I pressed "yes" because rating that you get most lower devision when winning more then 50% of game. In school you get "positive" when having test result above 55%. In league (which is not even school but some game for people to relax) you get by hitting 60% of win rate and you are in lowest possible position in league. I don't see any "good" or "positive" thing in entire fact about this league system. Eather is broken, or riot just don't put too much time in fixing it. and leave "noobs" to be in bronze. Just one question. Are you noob with 6-4 Win Rate?

I got thrown into bronze after having never been bronze before at beginning of the season. Worked myself out in around 20 games.

after 5w/5l with decent cs and highest dmg/wards/tower kills/drakes etc I finished in bronze 2? I am not playing for bronze, this is the first time I enter bronze and I am not happy with it? Why the hell this happened?
