How to fix players getting regrouped on separate teams and their pick auto banned?

Selecting your champ in lobby is good way of making sure your pick doesn't get banned by a team mate, but what happens when a team mate see's your pick and someone leaves or even a possibility of 3-4 picks?/ Sure, you had it all happen to you. You've gotta drop queue or risk having your pick banned. Is there any way to fix this? It's just up for discussion, I can't think of any. I know it's easy to have 2-3 picks but it still is unfortunate when you're in the mood to play a certain champ.

They probably can by making sure people in one queue all go different ways, but because its solved by simply declining queue its really not worth the trouble.

Was trying to avoid the re waits and possibly get the insta-queue and the same people in lobby? It's somewhat tilting when you (at times) type out a plan or strategy and then just ..gone.
