Why rename / convert IP to blue essence and not vise versa?

Just to be clear, I think the changes Riot has planed are well thought and are going in the right direction, here I am only commenting on the naming change.

So... to the point. I think that replacing a name so widely used as IP (influence points) that also makes some (not a lot, but some) with Blue Essence, a newer, less used, more difficult and slow to say word is a bad move. Also, with the way the client looks right now (with the minimalist and gray-ish design) the blue symbol looks out of place (if it stays the way it was shown in the video)
