Team builder and blind pick mach system

Ok im getting abit tired of all these higher Eloy players that im getting matched with and im only a silver 4 all i have been getting is just plats and gold 1's in my game where i am no were near that good to even be close to getting paired with its been frustrating me and been making it unfun for me to even deal with this game anymore especially in team builder when i want to try a new champion getting put in lane with a plat and i end up getting wrecked, how come that this isn't being matched around were we are placed in ranked matches?
