Hextech Key Fragments

I play league like pretty much everyday, I play ARAM, Draft, Blind, you name it, and I havent been given any key fragments in the last week or so. Is there a problem with the Key Dropping or is there a reason i havent gotten any at all? Id really like to use Hextech crafting but if its going to never help me at all with these key fragments then why is it there just to taunt me into buying stuff? cause that is not why i play League of Legends. Not to be taunted into buying things. Please riot why does it disable me from gathering key fragments?

also ARAM doesn't drop keys right now.

It's suppose to be hard to get a key fragment. It's just an improved CS go case and key system except they give you the chance to get a key.

"The drop rate for key fragments is a curve, not a line. With each fragment you earn, the chance to earn your next one goes down slightly. We wanted to give players who didn't play as frequently a good drop rate for keys, without making it feel like farming was mandatory if you wanted keys."

The current system is 1 frag every 3 games for the first nine, and then 1 every 19 games (wins only, of course) Basically expect to earn maybe 1 key a month.

"Let's say you can earn 6 fragments. We could either do it 1 fragment every 10 games (linear). Or we could have a player earn 1 fragment every 3 games for the first 9 games and then 1 fragment every 19 for the remaining 51 games (in the spirit of the our current system). Both worlds take 60 games to get all 6 fragments. The second system allows new players and players with the time to play 10 per month the ability to still get 3 fragments, whereas the linear system would only give them 1 fragment."

Thanks guys :) welp even if they arent legitimate numbers its nice to know about the drop rate estimate. cause i did get key fragments then boom! i havent gotten any in about 1-2 weeks now but i play everyday so i guess it makes sense :/

I haven't gotten a single key this month (start of April.) Do key fragments drop in ranked?

The other game modes were supposed to give key fragments but they haven't actually fixed the bug where they don't yet. Even though they may say that they drop in any mode, they don't.

The chances decrease the more key fragments you get. And they also are supposed to reset every month but it does not seem like they do. So you'll probably eventually get up to 12 key fragments and then never get any more again until Riot fixes it so you actually go back up to a reasonable drop rate for a new month.
