Will Skarner get changed/buffed anytime soon?

He feels so underwhelming in general. Damage wise. His Q and W are just fine to me, but his E is the big problem. It's such an unremarkable spell that does nothing but extremely minor damage. It does slow, but this is the most common form of soft CC there is. It just contributes to how boring it is.

Trust me, I'm not particularly good at playing Skarner. Not at all. But am I the only who feels this way? I remember how he was before he was reworked. He seemed stronger back then... his E did provide a heal. And his Q scaled much better. The base damage was lowered and both the AD and AP ratios were cut in HALF! Fracture had 70% AP scaling and much more base damage... same thing there. Scaling cut in half. On the other hand, W got a shorter cooldown aswell as the ult.

Will he undergo a change soon? Or is he meant to stay this way forever?

There's definitely a problem with him, because despite how underwhelming he is to play, he's actually quite strong. You can't play him at all into certain counterpicks, but outside of those matchups, he's actually preforming quite well. He needs some changes. A new E at least, although a full redesign would probably be preferable.

I agree the problem with skarner to me is that his e is so underwhelming.

I actually like Skarner's E, because it goes through everything. Don't have to deal with minion block or anything.

I do think Skarner needs a few changes, though. His new passive is fabulous, but the interaction with his ult is pointless outside of long ganks. Skarner wants to Flash/Glory in, and grab someone as soon as possible, so the effect is useless. I vote to remove it, and add power elsewhere in his kit to make up for it.

My suggestion would be to make his ult apply stacks of his passive in each instance of damage, so when it wears off, you can stun them immediately. More lockdown potential. Also, they can revert the recent damage buff on E (You use it for the slow, not the damage), and maybe add more to his passive's auto attack.

Also, remove E's ramp up time. It's not very cool feeling, and since the speed goes away when the shield breaks, it never helps in teamfights.
