Bots in ARAM - WHY RIOT!? -

I think many of you will know what I am talking about. I play LoL rarely so I am in Bronze (but I am an old player), and occasionally I like to play ARAM when I don't have time for ranked game. But during the last month I noticed that I don't get real enemies and allies in ARAM. Sometimes I get one real enemy or ally, but mostly they are bots with nicknames. You can notice that by their movement and similar things (they don't move until all of them are alive, they attack minions mostly, go under enemy turret whenever and die). So I end up my game with score 42/4, and my allies and enemies(bots) are like 0/20. ALWAYS What the fuck is happening? Where is old ARAM which sometime lasted 40 minutes with real players!?!? Sometimes I get one real player in team (I talked with him about bots in game) but that is it. If Riot doesn't fix that I am seriously gonna leave playing LoL, because I love ARAM but this is sh**.

Bots went from dominion to ARAM. Riot can try and ban bots as fast as they can, but there will always be another botter waiting right around the corner. It's just like cheaters. There will always be exploits in any game, game developers can patch them as fast as they can, but quickly another exploit will be found.

As shitty as it is to say it.... git gud. All joking aside, once your ARAM MMR goes up the problem goes away. I haven't seen a bot in ARAM in ages.

At least, that's my theory on it. Might also be affected by when you're playing, but TBH I frequently play in off-peak times thanks to my job, still don't see bots.

how can you climb if you only have bots in your team and practically playing 4 v 5 or even worse 3 v 5. you simply cannot because you re outnumbered. aka you cannot raise you MMR. and it would be no problem as long they wont feed, just stay under the tower and kill creeps

Because there is a 5/9 chance that a random bot will be on the enemy team.

You'll climb eventually.

Or Riot will nuke the bots at some point.

I play aram all the time. I have only had a few instances of bots. The game is so toxic i usually play aram. there is not so much flaming there.

Personally, i see more flaming in aram then i do normals. Also, bots is an every game occurence in the mornings

Maybe I posted it after seven months, but i was referring to years worth of experience. Ive been on league since it launched.

The main problem is that accounts are being lvl-up by bots in aram, and that Riot only bans by waves, as in every X months. So if you MMR is really low, you get with/against bots. I had that problem when I created a second account on another server to play with friends, but it went away after ~20 games. It is really annoying though, but that is a behavior that is out of Riot's reach.

Players are the main problem. If the players weren't buying accounts, there wouldn't be people bot'ing. If Riot bans the accounts ... then what ? Botters will only create new accounts and use bots again. The community needs to quit buying accounts - sure it may take you a whole month to do it yourself like a big boi, but at least you won't get banned and you won't be a pain for others.

Or riot could track the bot accounts, then wait until they start playing in ranked games and ban them then, to stop people from buying bot leveled smurfs, just saying rito, seems like a good idea to erradicate bots pretty dang fast

You will quickly never see bots again if you play a few ARAM games, because your mmr will rise. While theirs won't, by definition of being a bot. Seems to be the way Riot deals with non-reported bots. Report those you recognize as being bots though. Because they are farming xp for accounts to be sold later.

Iam playing this game from season 2 and Iam Very dissapointed from this new kinda disgusting riot bots thing! What in the name of god is this! My old account perma banned and now i have 1 account 3 years now and play most of all ARAM But also and ranked ! Iam Silver II in ranked(i dont play a lot right now) and this bot stuff makes me crazy Why i have to play against or with bots? Why Riot does not anything at all and what do you mean its Very difficult to fix this? When i flame they instaperma My account and when i have problems with these bots you tell me that Riot cant do anything ???? I swear the god this is ridiculous!!! I better go play minecraft nor play with this terrible bots!

I don't see an impossibility behind this problem to solve it. Here's a simple little things that (I think) it might help Riot to get start with. (Not sure if they need my advice, whatsoever, but anyway).

Solution 1. Make ARAM available for 30 lvl players only. Solution 2. Do not allow players to enter the game without their masteries and runes on. Solution 3. _Make a captcha, check their availability/identity to make sure they're not a robots. (in queue).

There are also numerous possibilities to solve this with one way or another. Considering their economic condition, it's rising all the time, I don't think they would let such problem to fuel and left it unanswered all the time. I still think they more care to make some fancy skins instead, and to sell it afterwards and have fun with free money.

Riot should add a report option for bots, and if people are reported as bots lets say 3 times total or 3 games out of 5 they have to do a re-captcha, even as simple as clicking the tick to verify they aren't actually bots, if they fail to verify say 5 of these in a row they get a temporary ban for a week, if this happens 3 times they get perma banned

Hi guyz, i dont wanna flame but this shit is driving me crazy.. it started cause we need to buy fucking all champs and skins and RIOT spend the money for whiskey and bitches and not for updating servers and anticheat system.. i'll move over this brown thing and start dota (or HoN, i'm not here for the advertisements, it's just the end of my patience..) here the cancers and bot ruin ur stats, people never hep me top, then blame me feed, then even give me report, and i must endure.. servers are shit: every game disconnects me at the fucking invade, once it even disconnected me and then gived me punishment for leaving the game!!!!!! (this is some really hard porn!!!!!)... UNFAIR RIOT, UNFAIR AND BAD!!! good bye cancers... P.S. Fucking ban me, if u want...

Riot only cares about Summoner's Rift. Be careful about complaining too much or Riot might remove Howling Abyss like they did with Dominion.

tbh, the bots are only at the entry level MMR and lower. Win a few times against bots, and you'll never see them again.

you cannot win with bots as you re outnumbered and the enemy team gets fed. and the team are not made only by bots. there happens to be 1 or 2 but it s enough to fudge up the game

My goodness ive seen too many people complaining "We cant win if we have bots on our team". not gonna lie you guys must be bronze or something. Bots have the EXACT SAME CHANCE OF BEING ON YOUR TEAM THAN THE ENEMY TEAM, if not less chance on your team since you're garenteed to not be a bot.

They have 5 people who can be a bot where your team only have 4 people who can be a bot... simple. stop whinging and just carry your games

I don't see any bots either. I think it's due to elo- I play a lot of ARAM as well.

I hear it's been a problem for years now for newer players and people who play less ARAM.

Because accounts are free and leveling sucks. Play bots in ARAM to level up so you don't have to pay for your smurf. Or just drop $30, it's up to you.

because it is free to play, that's why people don't respect the ban thing, they can always create a new account and keep playing. No offense but RIOT should take the lesson from Overwatch, once you banned, you need to pay another 50 dollars to buy a new account.

Yep, this is still an issue. Almost every single game I've played for at least the last week has been mostly bots. Whether it be one to three, they are always in ARAM now and it's become very annoying.
