Dominion returning would make me come back to playing league of legends. The gamemode wasn’t done justice. It was fast paced, there was significant strategy, much more champions were viable and much fewer were broken, and teamfighting was prominent from the very first minute of the game.
As someone who never liked dominion game modes in other games, I was obsessed with League’s dominion. I played it whenever I wanted to play League.
Apart from 1 Rioter, Riot gave up the mode completly. They didnt balance items or champion or update the map to look better. As result they player poulation was diminishing.
The biggest reason was that Dominion didnt get Ranked as it was firstly advertized due to the small size poplulation ( which it was small due to the abovementioned problems). All that result in a vicius circle and gave negative feedback to kill the mode.
The only way is to complete overhaul the mode and modernize it and make it faster and give it ranked ladder. I think it will help the mode survive. But I dont see Riot giving resources to an old project similar to Magma chamber ( 1vs1 or 2vs2 map).
Try to make a petition hopefully if you get 5-10% players ( people not different acounts) in each region they may consider it. Good Luck in your endeabours
PS I like Dominion and i had like 80 games on it, I played when I was bored from ARAM (I am RTG player, i like to play the modes other than Summoners RIft).

i don't even care if the map is greyscaled with prototype assets, just bring back the god damn game mode. fuckin hell rito, you cash in a billion dollars a year and you can't just put together a skeleton crew to maintain dominion? i'm not even asking for it to be balanced ffs, cause who the fuck trusts rito to balance shit when they had 8 years to get the rift right and on year 9 it still ain't right. but oh well no base capture game modes allowed no epic 1 to 1 point finishes as teams fight for that last spire that's now uncontrolled. no easy platform to practice champions in whatever manner you so deem worth your time.
nope we got practice tool, because i can put another human in practice tool OFC we got aram, cause i can pick what i play there and we have the rift because fuck you you either play league or nothing.
"but twisted treeline" honestly there is little to nothing to be gained from 3v3's, dom was 5v5, a large fight could break out on this new champion you might only get a few passing teamfights with on the rift or TT and you would get to experience endless skirmishes on dom or just lock yourself bottom side of the map and learn how to lane with your champ
FUCKING RIOT do the thing ffs don't give us this halfbaked bullshit "defnintely not dominion" piece of shit game mode that just leaves a sour taste in peoples mouths, fucking bring back dominion, you spergs.

Oop... okay but r u going to enjoy the 20 hour queues? They got rid of a lot of the bots, so you won't get any bots to play with you. I'm not kidding either, before so many people started botting, queues were anywhere between 3-20+ hours.

A poll wouldn't work as nobody would vote "No" to a question if they wanted something to be added to the game, regardless if they're going to use it.
Preach dude. Also hate when people jump in to say "Oh well Riot gave up on it because it had no playerbase" it had a massive playerbase of people playing hide and seek. It was one of the funnest game modes people came up with I fucking legit spent hours playing hide and seek. And I actually ACTUALLY had fun which is a fucking whole new world from SR. When the ranking gets fucking annoying and you get tired af of the community, Go play HIDE AND SEEK. Cant do that anymore. Riot truely hates us when they take one of the last fun things away.

Big reason why I just gave up on Rito at this point entirely. They're just going to do more stupid game modes that they aren't going to take care of, like Dominion, and keep looking for ways to squeeze money out of their players until their once rightfully attained popularity fizzles out.
If you ask me, they shouldn't be even be attempting side shit until they can get their main game right, but what would I know? I'm not part of a big corporation.

I only starting playing League in early 2018 and everyone I know mentioned Dominion being great and how they miss it. I don't see why Riot doesn't just add an actual automated RGM playlist into League. I'm not asking for new content just throw some of the current RGM's into a queue that rotates every week. I'd love to try dominion and ascension but it looks like I'll never get to try them.

They said that nobody played Dominion. I disagreed but they were partly telling the truth. You know what Riot planned about the gamemode and never did it? Ranked. Ranked Dominion. The simplest solution that they had thought but they never got to do it for unknown reasons. That would have saved Dominion.
I wasnt around early enough to play dominion but I played Definitely Not Dominion and some of my most fun matches ever were in that mode. I absolutely loved those down to the wire moments and the music in the map is really really good for hyping you up. I loved sneaking to the enemy base and yoinking their gem to spawn a super minion...ah good days

I would love Dominion and/or Ascension back. Please, just give us back a fast n' fun mode again. Been playing TT since they've both been gone, but the mode is honesty too slow and snowball-heavy for me to ever get used to. Pretty much every game is decided before you can even complete 2-3 items and SR isn't much better in that regard.
You can play pretty much anyone on the Crystal Scar and make them work (though marksmen are the weakest champs there) and since there's no laning phase (aside from bot lane on Dominion, which is a different beast entirely) it allows for much more strategy and team comp variety than SR, ARAM or TT.
