TEEMO Vs. Swain = Broken (And many other flaws and bugs)
I would like to voice my disgust about playing against Swain as Teemo in the top lane. At the moment, I cannot think of a more unbalanced opponent for Teemo. I just finished a game where I (with the help of my mid laner and jungler) killed Swain three times (one of which I only got the assist for). So here I am, out leveling Swain with a score 2/0/1, and Swain is still able to walk up to me and do more than half of my health with a two move combo(stun and bird lightening). I hit him about 6 times with my auto attack, hit him with two blinding darts, and he walked through 4 mushrooms. All of this caused him to lose about one quarter of his health. As a Teemo player, I feel more more like there is absolutely nothing I can do in a majority of situations no matter how well I am playing. If I play extremely well, it makes no difference against Swain. He can be three levels lower than me with half the cs and still crush me. There is no reward for good play and if I make a single misstep, I won't even be able to survive in lane for more than a couple minutes. I am no professional, but I do know that I am playing well and being punished despite my performance. This happens with many other champions as well. In another game, I set up a mushroom field. Now I am NOT exaggerating at all here. I set up 13. Yes THIRTEEN mushrooms. I was playing against a Sion. He walked through ALL 13 mushrooms that I payed out and it did a total of 300 damage to him. Mind you, he had not bought a single magic resist item. I would like you to investigate my claims please. Set up a mushroom field and have Sion, in a matter of 10 to 15 seconds, walk through 13 teemo shrooms (I believe we were both level 10 at the time) and watch how his health bar is nearly unaffected. Finally, I would like to report a bug with the Ignite spell. Every single game I play I go to ignite someone and it just does not work. The enemy will be fully within the range of the ignite, I will not be spell silenced or anything else that could prevent me from using ignite, and the spell just will NOT go off. I will press it multiple times on the target (who is fully within the range circle) and it just does not go off. If it helps, I will upload some games where this happens. It is extremely frustrating to have ignite constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY fail to go off, when it would turn the tide of the laning phase. A final note, I played a game against a riven in which I got first blood and was out playing her. Level six hits while I am at a score of 1/0/0 to her 0/1/0 and she walks up to me and hits me twice and it takes me down 800+ hit points. There is something critically wrong with the damage output of these champions. And it does not seem to happen to anyone else besides TEEMO. TEEMO needs some serious attention, which I believe I read he was supposed to receive in this update (7.2) but which now seems to have completely disappeared. Please let me know if I am wrong about this but I could have sworn I read on this website that Teemo's range immediately exiting stealth was to be increased for his first auto attack or blinding dart. But alas, when the update was completed, there was no mention of this (among other things). I distinctly remembered reading something along the lines of, "These past patches and updates have been unfair or rough on Teemo, and he needs some attention, well we are updating him here in this update(7.2)". Did I imagine this? Did I read something from an old update? Can anyone please tell me if there will be any attention given to the complete nonsense that happens to us Teemo players. Oh now that reminds me of another instance of nonsense involving top laning as Teemo. I was playing against a Nasus top lane. For the first 9-10 minutes of the landing phase, Nasus stood under turret dancing and taking hits while I farmed and his tower killed minions. I out leveled him by two levels and had a cs that was at least 60 higher than Nasus. At this point I had killed him once in the very beginning and had been poking him down furiously (of course this does nothing when he is able to massive heal by hitting a couple minions). So after dancing and doing virtually nothing for ten minutes, he pops his ult, slows me (which lasts a ridiculously long time) hits me twice, and then kills me. It is EXTREMELY frustrating to be doing everything right while he does nothing and he is able to turn around and hit me three times, killing me, despite me out leveling and out farming him. I return to lane and his ultimate is already off cool down and he is able to trounce me again. I asked him to stop moving to see how many times I would have to hit him to be able to kill him, and while I do not remember the exact number, it took about 15 seconds to 20 seconds of him standing completely still and me shooting at him to kill him. There is absolutely no balance here. I have to have him walk through several mushrooms, hit him with 3 to 4 blinding darts, and shoot him about 12 times to kill him ( all in a short period of time because remember, if he hits two or three minions, he is healed nearly to full health). There is no combatting that. The fun is being sucked completely out of a game that I have enjoyed and supported for years. I strongly urge you to take some time to play as TEEMO in the top lane and see for yourselves just how unbelievably frustrating it is to got rocked by opponents that you have completely outplayed for the first half of the game. Another side note (Garen is very difficult to click on when he does his spinning sword move <despite being massive in size>). There have been at least 10-15 instances in the last 30 hours of game play that I have had Garen down to 40 health (one shot away from being slain) and I just cannot click on his spinning character. It is ridiculous. He is huge, why can I not click on him? Again and again this happens. You should make his click box bigger while he is spinning because there is almost no way to track exactly where to click. I end up walking into the spinning sword or shooting at a nearby minion and this happens at least one per round if I'm facing a Garen. Try it for yourself, it is way to hard to just click him because his hit box is constantly shifting. That is not how this is supposed to be. I understand that this can be easily written off as player error but I think you should at least CONSIDER increasing his hit box size because I am sick of dying when I should have gotten the kill and survived all because the hit boxes are too small and moving too erratically. Thank you tremendously for taking the time to read through this and thank you for truly considering these flaws. I beg that you update Teemo in some way to make him a viable pick again. These changes and neglect to Teemo have left me with an ultimate sense of frustration and disgust with what used to be my favorite game of all time.
