The Hunt is On! The investigation.

I have been burning the midnight oil after i found out the details surrounding the new Rengar assassin rework and the new Bonetooth Necklace interaction Bonetooth Necklace

• Now only grants stacks for unique champion kills (Rengar has to damage them within 1 second of their death)
• Stacks capped at 5
• Old bonuses removed
• Now grants 1/3/6/10/15 Attack Damage
• Now grants 2/6/12/20/30% Bonus Attack Damage
• No longer gets the short end of the stick in the Kha'Zix/Rengar quest ( This right here boys and girls)
• Bonetooth Necklace progress is represented by a UI element that Kindred players will be familiar with

With so many unanswered questions about the new rewards for killing Kha'zix(or more accurately the lack of detail we have been givin') So far i could not find anything about what happens after you kill the bug. Which one of the assumed rewards is the head oh Kha'zix which gives you max stacks on your bonetooth necklace.

The old requirements for The Hunt is on!

1. Kha'Zix has used all three evolution points (level 16 minimum)
2. Bonetooth Necklace.png Bonetooth Necklace must be at 12 stacks. max 20
3. All members of both teams must be alive at the same time.

From this we can deduce that you do not need all trophies to start the quest if it follows this trend. But we do not know what you get on TOP of that. This is what you use to get.

• Bonetooth Necklace is replaced with an item called the Head of Kha'Zix, which provides the benefits of a fully stacked Bonetooth Necklace and grants Rengar increased vision range while in a brush. And this brings me to the heart of it all WHAT DO YOU GET AFTER YOU KILL KHA'ZIX? We were told he would no longer get the short end of the stick but it is not mentioned in ANY original official post. And here we can see at the very bottom of the rengar post on surrender@20 we have this note

Also note that the Rengar vs Kha'Zix quest will award Rengar a hidden 6th stack. (WHAT IS IT?! THIS IS THE QUESTION THAT HAS BEEN BURNING MY SOUL AS I TRIED TO SLEEP IN THE COLD BLEAKNESS OF NIGHT.)

BUT, never fear boys and girls. I Have the answer (that i stole from someone else) or uncovered to be more accurate.

Thanks to RiotRepertior for his quick response on this thread to the question of THE 6TH STACK reads as follows and also some juicy info about Ebola.

Regarding Bola. It still has the cast time, but it's been rescripted so that it always comes from him and not some random point behind him. If you put your mouse where you want your bola to go, it should cast from your body to that point.

Regarding Rengar vs. Kha'Zix, each stack is worth more than the last, and the Head of Kha'Zix gives you a hidden 6th stack, resulting in 21 Flat AD and 42% Bonus AD.

So as this mystery has been solved by yours truly. Everyone can rest easy tonight as we dream of killing Kha'zix and taking is head as our trophy.
