Old fiora was completely useless while behind and was incredibly oppressive when ahead. She was also a fairly simple champion who had no incentive to be picked as she was basically another yi or tryndamere. Sure, her ult was fun, but it also provided no counter play since all she had to do was press it when she's low for invulnerability and quick life steal. This made her incredibly oppressive when she's ahead because it meant you had no chance of killing her if she had her ult up. With new fiora, she has a higher skill cap while also being one of the bests duelists in the game if played correctly due to her mobility, %health true dmg, w. and ult. Compared to her previous ult, her new ult has more counter-play as it isn't a click to win ability, you actually have to kite around you opponent in order to get its full effect. This also fits with her current theme better as a high-class swords woman as a good fiora just dances around you and makes you look like an idiot. Her old ult was I get free hits on you cuz why not? The old fiora's passive was also just another stat stick that did not provide an immersive experience at all. It was basically a nonexistent life steal ability. Her old q was also point and click which did not fit with her theme of a high class duelist at all as it provided little to no outplay potential. To sum it all up, old fiora was a bland champion who did nothing show off her theme. She was basically another "I whack you until you're dead champ." So I believe new fiora is better as it was a fairly well-received rework even by fiora mains as it truly captured her theme. It also stopped limited her chances of becoming a feast or famine type champion as Fiora's damage goes down by quite a lot if you cannot play her effectively which means that when one loses to Fiora on even grounds, it creates the sense of feeling out played rather than being out-statted.

Because to be frank, you annoy a great deal of people in this forum with your complaining about Fiora's rework.

And my anger isn't even towards you. You barely even register in my list of fucks to give anymore.

This place just makes me angry. I'm amazed I haven't snapped and gone 100% toxic on these forums.

Could it be that you found an overpowered champ that brought you wins inversely proportional to the amount of effort you put in... then ran with said champ... then got butthurt when riot gave that champ some well deserved nerfs?

And lets imagine you were to deny the above assertion... can you see why someone would think that?

i really like the current fiora but never got the chance to play the old one (started playing right after the rework). What was she like? kit and playstyle?

Old Fiora's passive was basically increased health regen upon autoing enemies. It stacked multiple times against enemy champions. Her Q was an auto-target dash (think Irelia Q or Akali ult), her W was an "auto shield" that reflected the damage and on-hit effects of the next basic attack to hit her, and her E was a temporary attack and movement speed steroid. Sounds simple, right? Well, just wait on her ultimate.

Four-ish seconds of total untargetability, during which she would blink around, striking every enemy in the area and applying on-hit effects. Black Cleaver, Lifesteal, Ravenous Hydra AoE, any and all of them- even crits I think. It required no aim or timing whatsoever, and there was no counterplay besides Banshee's or becoming untargetable yourself.

Old Fiora basically dashed into her enemy and either killed them or died. If she got fed and got ahead she was basically unstoppable, but if she fell behind and got shut down she had no fallback options and could only play as a weaker and less effective version of her usual self. She was that binary, and it left her in a pubstomper state where she was the bane of newer and low-league players, but completely useless in high-level and pro play.

I mean, between a Fiora that´s too young to be an experienced duelist with a counterplay-less ult and a Fiora who actually looks like she could outduel your ass and has an ult that has counterplay....yeah, the latter is the choice any sane person would pick.

New Fiora looks older, somehow hotter and better to play overall.

For the record... everyone who says good things about the new Fiora and bad things about the old Fiora is a (Fiora hater) and knows nothing about Fiora at all. They likely do not play Fiora and only try to sound like know it alls. They are Fiora's true enemy. Those who are complacent with the horrid nerf that is the Fiora rework. I have fed many games in apathy of the rework. I was once the best Fiora in all of leauges famous for my level 1 pentakills. But when Riot banned me from ranked for being too good and nerfed Fiora all I've been famous for is feeding that people think is intent feeding but it's not it's just how bad Fiora is after the rework trying to make the best of it.

If you were a good player beforehand, you'd easily make it out of bronze, even IF you're not playing your best champions, considering the fact that bronze players don't have good decision making a lot of the time, which is an amazing way to win. Secondly, you play teemo more often than fiora. Thirdly, level 1 pentakills are stupidly rare, and you'd literally have to towerdive or make the enemy team play into it Lastly, why the hell are you still playing fio if you hate her?

i'll vote no, but not because she is bad, she is actually very strong. She can 1v5 easily now a day but you need to be good with her. She's just not that easy assassin she used to be, she requires more mechanics and precision than before with better decision making. She also has a higher skill cap than before.
