Highest Skill Cap Top Laners? ( Need 3 at the minimum )

Hashtag Thresh··1 votes·1,763 views

I'm thinking of switching to maining another lane for the like. 4th time now. And I want some high skill cap top laners. Im on my way to buying riven but Idk who else takes skill. I've heard jayce But i typically do pretty good with him and hes not that hard in my opinion. Fiora takes decent skill and I already have her. So feel free to post comments that answer my question :D <3 [slayer-jinx-catface] [slayer-jinx-wink]

Gangplank - Proper usage of your ultimate and barrel placement/usage is key. He can be a monstrous split-pusher capable of applying global pressure and bursting down entire teams with good barrel-chains.

Singed - Non-intuitive playstyle which goes against the common sense of many players. When played properly, he can apply an insane amount of pressure and distract entire teams without dying. His kit isn't necessarily complex, but proper usage of him and his playstyle is.

I forgot about gangplank. Thanks for telling me, and I dont really like singed, I don't like that slow paced gameplay. I want fast and furious ;) [slayer-jinx-wink]

Have you considered trying Olaf ?

He's definitely the type to be in the middle of the action and has a good learning curve to him. While his kit is pretty basic, learning your exact limits and how to properly take advantage of your kit in lane against opponents can take quite a while.

When you do learn how to play him, you can often train people down and kill them at level 1, steal the enemy buff camps solo and kill opponents while you have very little health.

He's definitely a good champion to know and great at diving through heavy-CC teams without an issue.

Actually I haven't considered him, no. I never thought about using tanks since I've never been a big fan of them. I'm more of a squishy get in kill them all and get out person. But i'll give him a shot.

My 3 top laners are Fiora, Riven, and Irelia.

I dont really like Irelia. I dont like her visual design. Not my type of design, but her kit is fun.

I do agree with buying Riven, as Dekar explained; "She is a champ without limits, you can always get better."

Rumble and Poppy. Hm... Ill try rumble, and I think poppy is kinda unfair so I don't really plan on using her, I wanna be fair afterall

Any available option in any situation is a fair move.

Yeah I guess you're right. It's just ive seen her being broken for the past few patches and I'm not the kinda person to use someone like Yi or Jax simply because they're broken

Poppy is actually on the weak side at the moment.

46% Win Rate in Platinum+ for Top Lane.

Yi and Jax are in a similar situation in their respective roles.

Gragas is a high skill cap champ who's also incredibly fun to play.

Gangplank has been suggested a few times, and for good reason. He's got a unique playstyle and if you can land your barrels, you are godplank.

Olaf can be a terror in top lane if you learn to manage his Q, E, and passive.

Lissandra and Lulu are also really great picks because of the way their kits let them assist teammates and co-initiate or end fights. You never want to be the frontline, but when your frontliner initiates, you're there to support.
