Psi211 votesSince Morello hates Burst DPS to begin with... which is why he removed DFG and is nerfing burst champs (under the guise of buffing mages for the removal of the DFG)...The new meta is RoA stacking. Great job Morello...
Morello has been on record saying that Burst Damage is anti fun and no one wants to out right die to it. Completely ignoring what has made DOTA what it was. DOTA wasn't a Tankie DPS slug fest which may I add is super boring.
Morello has abused his 'own item' buffing it every patch while nerfing Athene after he was called out that his book was worthless in Season 3.
Morello is and continues to be Riot's Problem.
Get rid of him and maybe Riot can get back to balancing the game correctly.

I know he was the face of the balance team, but I'm not sure he actually did a whole hell of a lot with the actual balancing aspect of it. Kind of a face for everyone to direct their comments, and hatred for in some cases, toward rather than having most of the balance team be an unknown entity.
And Morellonomicon being buffed out of favoritism by a Riot employee sounds like really weird conspiracy theory levels of paranoia. I highly doubt they intended to make Morellonomicon that much better than Athene's Unholy Grail just because it was inefficient in seasons prior. The problem with the two items is that they're unlikely to ever been just as good as one another because the niche they fill is roughly the same, and Morellonomicon just happens to be the more gold-efficient of the two, so it's picked up much more often. It also helps against pesky picks like Mundo and Vlad, but it's always had Grievous Wounds last I remember.
Of all the potential people you could have named having a negative impact on the game right now, Morello is probably the least credible for that assertion. Even Stashu (unfortunately) has more credibility toward "ruining the game" after his Cassiopeia rework than Morello does. And Morello's infamous Poppy comment doesn't apply, because that's more of him getting out the views of the balance team itself rather than his own opinion.

Yes, Morello is to blame for the DFG. This goes way back where he even stated he wanted it gone but others in Riot kept him from getting rid of it completely. But he did have it nerfed that patch.

Referring to the idea that DFG was removed solely for the introduction of Bard. And it wasn't.
Morello did upgrade his item in game and it was because players pointed out he did not make an item players wanted.
Trust me Morello is the problem on the balancing the game. He has always been the problem.
