We need mandatory voice chat for ranked...people dont listen to pings i cant type in game enough cause im always chat banned cause letting someone know they are fucking r%%%%%ed is some how a bad thing... just make it mandatory to play ranked,,,

ZephyrDrake7 votesOk... not everyone has the proper setup to even do voice chat. Some don't even have anything beyond a built in shitty mic. Some people like listening to music while they play. Others live in a noisy neighborhood/house. Some don't feel like listening to other people bitching about things. Then there are those who are too shy for this sort of thing and even some who just despise how their voice sound through a mic.
Notice how I am not even mentioning the toxic douches that will inevitably appear. Voice chat isn't going to magically solve your "teammates not listening to pings!" Issue.

And of course this takes the "solo" out of solo queue for us players who play with chat muted and all game sound off to listen to podcasts.

You....do realise those are just handpicked videos made by thousand of players across the world who're playing that game? If each one of us made a vid about toxic douche in ONLY one game, guess how many vids would be out there about it?
Never judge the game by videos on youtube. NEVER. They're only made for content, and showcasing raging kids is one kind of content. That's the same mistake I made with csgo. Based on yt vids I thought each game will be full of screeching kids throwing slurs at me. 700 hrs later...I don't think I had more than 10 games where some1 was toxic.

Syrile1 votesI am commonly against mandatory anything (except effort) but I would not be totally against this. Of course, you do have to take into account players with disabilities as well, but there are a few things that can be done to help with that.
