Cho'Gath remake

So i have just read that riot are planning on buffing Cho'gath again and I was thinking maybe the champ is outdated and not weak but with a bad kit . My thoughts are that this champion could use an update on his kit making it more viable as it feels like playing a walking tree right now (even Maokai and Ivern are more mobile) So here's my idea as for now I do not know if this makes any sense or if this is the place for this idea but I just feel like sharing .

Q - Rupture I am not gonna be making the description but give an idea about how it should work (according to me) for Cho'gath to see some play (maybe even proffesional) So here it is : Cho'gath would send a wave of rupturing spikes forward knocking up all enemies until it colides with a chamion and knocking him up for x time dealing y+z dmg (similar to braum's ultimate but worse version of it of course)

W- Sonic* Scream Cho'gath would send a sonic wave forward (more tight) but moving forward in a bigger distance dealing x dmg and silencing targets hit for y time

E - Vorpal Spikes Cho'gath spikes seems somehow illogcal to me so my idea about this is not quite change it as a whole but buff in a way that would be more fitable (instead of getting range on his stacks) to get extra range on the rank of his Vorpal Spikes ( and get buffed ofc ) 50/100/150/200/250 attack range

R - Feast My idea about his ultimate is to have 2 actives and only work on enemy champions (also boosting the health per stack for the reason) 1st active : Spit Acid over the targeted enemy and slowing it by 50%/60%/70% for x time and make it eatable* (1000range)

2nd active : Cho'gath attempts to eat the eatable enemy dealing true damage . If Feast kills its target Cho'Gath gains one Feast stack. Feast can stack infinitely. Also buffing the hp per stack as it can no longer be granted by minion to 120/150/180 per stack

So tell me what do you guys think do you agree with me on my idea if not why not and do u have any better suggestions ?

I agree that Cho's kit is relatively outdated, and while his current rework is mostly pretty good, I think he could use a larger update in the future: really, what I want out of Cho'Gath is the kaiju fantasy, i.e. being the biggest thing on the map and causing massive destruction in my wake. Right now, Cho is part-tank, part-mage and even kinda part-juggernaut, which is why Riot considers him to be in this between-class limbo, yet out of his current kit, his passive causes frustration in lane by letting him turtle too well, his W doesn't feel very impressive or interactive, his E is only really useful for waveclearing, and his ult is more about getting bigger than it really is about eating anything (his Q's pretty alright, though). I like the above rework, though I think you could go a bit further and try to push the fantasy of making Cho feel as big and destructive as possible (by having the size of all of his abilities scale with his size, for example).

Anyone who plays chogath knows he can't turtle for his life.

Chogath's mana costs mean that facing anyone who can even somewhat zone him means he gets fucked to high hell. A few ruptures to try and farm is guaranteed OOM.

thats why i think he needs a new kit he feels like playing a tree indeed like being able to punish someone for trying to zone u by using ur Q instantly knocking him up by jumping u in melee range into a nice targeted silence and yet good wave clear with the range buff on E u would be able to push and punish him for zoning u while as for now cho gath feels like season 1-2 no matter what buffs

i really like the ideas. especially the 2 part ult seems really fitting. i think hes e needs something different though. it feels kinda lame to just activate it and do bonus damage

Trust me, Riot knows he needs a full VGU. It's just a matter of when, since he isn't the only one that needs it.

His kit is "dated." But it's pretty unique too.

I'll admit I only play him every now and then and only as a opportunity to use him as a counter though.

He is a walking monster late game. And I mean in the sense in that he's like a big exploitable pve boss because he's slow with limited range effect unless he lands rapture Q which usually requires a misstep by the enemy or allied help or just plain outskill to land. But his laning phase is extremely good. Break their face best in the game good? Nah, but pretty strong. That's why I only pick him to eat a lane up if I don't have another answer as easy and play as a team later. But it's also because people underestimate him a little bit. Especially my builds.

I just wouldn't necessarily have him turn into the next spoonfed esport$ big plays champion but I don't think that's what anyone is asking for though and I don't think that's what'll get if we rework this giant monster anyways.
