Nidalee - Top, Mid, Support, and now a Jungler.

First off, Nidalee is strong and needs changes.

Since her rework, and recent changes in the game meta, Nid has become a powerhouse in all regions. She has no hard-counter gameplay, as she has high mobility, sustain, and damage. She also has failsafe mechanics in the fact that the traps, which have no upper limit (like Cait) reveal, proc hunter, and shred for % current HP. If Nid is to be changed in a healthy way, her Q (Cougar or Human form) needs to be nerfed. Preferably the Cougar Q, since it has the ability to knock out people from 50-0 in a single attack (even tanks with a Void Staff and other MPen items). Nerfing the Human Q wouldn't solve the problem, and would just leave Nid to roam free in AD form, while the Q (Cougar) can still demolish people.

Lets talk numbers for a second.

Hunt - Javelin Toss and Bushwack proc this passive, which in turn increases the power of Takedown and Pounce.

Break that down a little bit, and this means that if you are hit with any human form damage abilities, and remain anywhere less than ~75% hp, you can be jumped on and mauled in a matter of seconds. The issue here is along with the 33% increase on Takedown, the Hunted proc, spears in melee range can send you into demise due to insane chase potential.

Javelin Toss has a range of 1500. After 525 units, damage increases. That point seems safe to say that after 525 units, (and not before) the Hunted proc should be put into place.

Bushwhack is safe for applying the Hunted proc, but the issue that traps can be placed indefinitely is an issue. Caitlyn can only have 3 traps out at once, so why does Nid have no limit. Perhaps No more than 5 traps can be placed at once would be a healthy change.

Now, actually moving on to Takedown and Javelin Toss.

Javelin - 50/75/100/125/150 (+40% AP) Magic Damage (at under 525 range) After that, damage is increased by 2% for every 7.75 units, up to 150/225/300/375/450 (+120% AP), which is extremely high. Some may come and say "It's a skillshot, that warrants its power." but with Takedown doing similar damage, it is simply too much, Proposed Changes (Damage only, mana costs are fine) Maximum Damage: 150/225/300/375/450 (+120% AP) (Old) 125/175/250/325/400 (+100% AP) (New)

Takedown - The most powerful execute in the game. 4/20/50/90 (+75% AD)(+36% AP) (+1.5% Dmg per 1% missing enemy HP)(+33% Hunted) Which, with all these bonuses, scales up to 13/67/167/300(+250% AD)(+120% AP) Base damage is fine. Keeps the late-game identity that proposed changes to Javelin Toss have. But the ratios are madness. AD Nid is still played, albeit not as much. However, lets say Nid is level 1, is building AP, and has 50 AP, and base 48 AD. Her Takedown would still have a damage range of (Base)(+36)(+18) To (Base)(+120)(+60), after landing a Q which can do anywhere from 1/5 to 1/3 of a Level 1 champion's HP. Just combined with Hunt and Prowl (since hunt applies prowl's move speed bonus) Nid can easily out duel any level 1 champion simply by landing a spear.

Sadly, the same power applies at level 18, only with the increased power from any Sheen (Spellblade) item.

Proposed Changes: AD Scaling (Min/Max) (+75% AD) to (+187.5% AD) Before Hunted (Old) (+30/45/65/75% AD) to (+75/112.5/162.5/187.5% AD) Before Hunted (New)

Hunted +33% Damage (Old) +25% Damage (New)

Now, lets talk about mobility.

Since extremely high (Veigar+DFG level) damage would no longer be a huge issue, mobility would be necessary for Nid to properly function. But the current stats on Pounce are overpowered. Radius - 375, with a 75 radius from landing point for damage, and 750 for hunted targets. Cooldown - 5 at all ranks, reduced to 1.5 if a unit is killed or if cast on a hunted target.

This provides nid with a damaging dash that lets her chase, evade, and destroy.

Proposed changes

Radius - Hunted 750 (Old) 600 (New)

Damage (To compensate for earlier changes to Javelin Toss/Takedown) (+30% AP) (Old) (+41.5% AP) (New) Yes this number is a bit strange. It works out.

Cooldown 5 at all ranks and 1.5 reset for Hunted or unit kill (Old) 8/7/6/5 and 2 reset for Hunted or unit kill (New)

Primal Surge could use some work, and Swipe is nowhere on the power radar.

This concludes my balance rant.

you're wrong.

Nidalee can ADC too. Steroid, escapes, execute. Just like Quinn with poke.

I think one of the reason nid has no upper limit on her traps is because everything can activate it. Same as with Teemos shrooms. Anything that touches them are snagged. Cait has a limit because her traps only affect champs who step on them. plus a bushwack is a trap that maims you and cripples you. you can still move just messed up.

I mean, it makes sense, but with the case versus teemo mushrooms, teemo shrooms do flat damage and slow, Nid's traps do a % of your current HP, and that % usually will go up to ~30%
